Can't comment on that. As I just got through explaining, I've got the ME series but have been saving it for when there's nothing else that interests me. I do know that some folks had right royal hissy fits but I don't want to know the details, preferring to come to my own conclusions.

Thanks for the link...interesting.
And then this one in 2010

“It is the largest R&D project EA has ever undertaken in terms of total dollars that we expect to spend bringing the title to market,”

If it's the most money EA ever spent then obviously BW needed the cash to complete SWtOR. Plus EA wanted in on WoW's success. Win/Win for both parties.

ooooh...this one is better. Again, thank you.

Don't worry. ME:A is still a good game, particularly now it's been fixed. Personally I find it's not quite as good as the original series but that's for everybody to decide for themselves.

My point was more with how they handled the whole situation. ME:A in spite of its shortcomings and a promise of no dlc's is still worth the money I paid for it and I'm sure I'll play it again in the future.

The reason why the game didn't do so well is because at launch there were valid reasons to complain and this turned the media on it in a bad way...more than it deserved even. So a lot of people stayed away from buying. If they'd tightened up the graphics better before release that wouldn't have happened. It's fixed now but it's too late for the general market. A shame really, it could've done a whole lot better.

As for ME3, just make sure you play through the Leviathan dlc before going to the end of the game. It gives a lot of context that really is good to know before getting to the end of the story. Not gonna say anything more cause I don't want to spoiler anything

Thanks. I always start at the beginning and go for all DLC that comes with their games. Who knows...maybe even this coming winter. We'll see.

I see it for 15£ not exactly expensive. I'm betting it'll be 10 around Christmas.

The first 3 are certainly worth a good playing.

Andromeda will be a take it as you find it deal. I found it wanting myself but it's as I said.

You'll be back in a year.

Edit: Oh and sorry but Andromeda is a bad game.

Could be, they totally let go of it. It's very different from the original series but I still put 200 hours in it just the same. My first playthrough took me 60 hours and I skipped all the side missions. It's more an exploration game than being story driven as the original trilogy but I still enjoyed it for what it was.

I think the trick is to see it as something completely different, cause that's what it is. It's why it didn't meet a lot of expectations had. But if you can separate yourself from those expectation it really is a beatiful game and there are some really cool characters in there. Some just need to grow on you a bit and it just has a very different atmosphere altogether. So 15 or 10 bucks...I'd definitely give it a spin for that money especially.

No need to be sorry. I can imagine people not liking it, but I can also can imagine people liking it.

Thanks.

I look forward to it and if I could just put SWTOR aside for a bit, I'll be giving it a go but right now I'm in the midst of so many things here...
