Alignment influence?

Hello everyone. I've recently returned from a break and haven't played through the KotET storyline yet. Does alignment decide dialogue choices or storyline outcome? For that matter, does it decide anything in the game except for some item requirements and Dark Side character corruption?

Overall alignment doesn't do a whole lot; as you said, there's some gear, and dark side corruption. There are two new vendors on the fleet, one for each alignment, but they require special tokens you won't earn until level 70 so I won't get into that.

Picking specific aligned choices affects the story to a lesser or greater degree in KOTET, as it did in KOTFE, and in the original stories, so nothing specifically new.

There are a couple of different dialogue bits with Lana, and at least one I can think of off the top of my head with HK. They'll comment about how you've changed if you make some choices against your alignment in Chapters 3 and 4, like how you deal with the Knights.
