Is there a way to complete the Droid Achievement on Tython since the major changes that were made to the quests there? Back before these changes there was a quest chain in front of the Jedi Academy which allowed you to complete that achievement and Ultimate achievement for Tython . Now that quest chain is nonexistent.

Open your world map. Make sure the box next to "show exploration missions" is checked.

They never removed quests.

This. There are four types of one-off missions on planets:
* Class missions, including the main stories of the stories that come after the class story. Class missions come in chains, one per class-story pair, and cannot be "taken" nor "dropped".
* Planetary Arc missions, such as the Gree droid one on Coruscant or the Thana Vesh story on Imp Taris. Notable for purple quest markers and quest-giver markers.
* Side missions, which are just small scene-setting missions, with yellow markers and a plain yellow mission-giver triangle.
* Exploration missions, which, similarly, are just small scene-setting missions. They have yellow markers and a yellow mission-giver triangle with a little star by it.

By default, on a new character, Exploration missions are hidden. You can reveal them by checking that checkbox on the map.
