BW is great a copying and this sounds like a great way to implement world pvp rewards

I think all wil lagree that Open world needs give some reasons for player to make him come to open world even after he is alredy 50 lvl ...BUT player wont come to open world it gives him nothing.
Rewards for kill is a BAD REASON or PURPOSE for a player, becuz then there will be no rivalness, no competition , no chalenge for win , becuz if i die i lose nothing i will try to win some other guy, thats all , beside all players will jump on each others without reason, just t oget rewards, like nothing personal just bussiness . It will turn into kill fest...just another Warzone for rewards.

What BW can really do to give us purpose and reason to walk on open world is add some spots with many resources with fast respawn , World Boss with better gear than those from Warzones.

And something like Castle in Lineage to make challenge between Guilds.

it sounds like BW is afraid to make open world popular... If there is players reaping reward from crazy fighting tehn that is a success, not a failure. maybe it has been ok like that in other games before and be successful, but to me it seem obvious that it's missing and shunted here.

Belive me once they give rewards for killing, all will be rich , you will have much credits than you need or any other resources. Too many players you can kill in one day. At the end it will become boring, there will be nothing special about killing a player, it will become routinely.

I'm not really sure why you don't get Merc Commendations for Open World PVP kills. It would encourage queuing for warzones AND looking for trouble on Tatooine, Hoth, Alderaan etc. If they want to discourage gratuitous ganking, they should scale the commendations you receive for kills. For example: there should be a "base value" of Commendations awarded for killing someone of your level, let's call it 6. If you kill someone more than 4 levels below you, you get no commendations, and it scales up for killing people above your level. Obviously you would need to find a way to make this jive if more than one person contributes to a kill, but we're just spit balling here.

I'm willing to be patient and give the Dev Team a little bit of time to work this out. I'm almost positive there will be SOME reward system implemented in a few weeks during a patch.

All these people are talking about exploiting open world pvp.... everything can be exploited.

For example: Sometimes when I'm playing Battlefield 3, I queue into a warzone, and hide my character for the free experience for participating in the match (classy, I know). Exploits are going to happen, a good game design should be implemented to fix those things.

All I want is some stupid titles or medals for open world pvp against people my level/near my level on my *********** PVP server. I don't want the *********** game to balance out everything for me and try and make everything equal. Most skilled players will play the under-populated side for the challenge anyway.

Yeah thats it, lets do open world pvp for the fun of it and not let it be some mindless zombie boring *** ******** grind like in WoW.

no, not necessarily, that is only 1 bleak outcome possible. I really wish there was some good old crazy fighting going on within some of the cool zones available. There should be somewhere you can go and expect others that are like-minded as you are. Currently there is no fighting so no problem? You just made the game 90% smaller - from a PvP player POV.

Respectfully, if players are rich from investing large amounts of time in world PvP'ing and looting chests in hostile areas then good. Money and reward is not hard to find anywhere in the game really and doing it from open world PvP should be made available. I don't agree with that perspective there.
