XP or Quest amount is Lacking at lv 40 +

After Hoth i have been lacking XP Alot. The amount of quests is lacking.

I finished Belsavis at 43. And the planet felt like it needed more quests.

Now im struggeling on VOSS at lv 44 against lv 47 Mobs.

Im not a troll. I do all Heroic Quests. I do a majority of the Bonus achivments. And i finnish all "Planet-Bonus" Quest-lines.

All my quest are either RED or Orange.....

And i dont like comments that a should be Grinding Flashpoints for 2 levels to be in PAR with Correlia.

Im soon finished on Voss and i will ding lv 45 at that time.

Anyone else have the issue like i explain ? please comment and tell me how things evolved.

Did you skip a planet during leveling?

Im following my Classquests so its pretty hard to miss a entire planet.... Tho i got a quest from Belsavis that is on Ilium and its Red.

No. I havent done many Flashpoints. Because i dont like to sitt around on Republic fleet and spam General chat: LFG etc.... Its a bloody waste of my time even if im a healer.

I rather enjoy the quests and Lore of the planets.

And i Explore every nook and Cranny of every planet.

Alderaan had a realy nice bonus level at 40-41. That i like very mutch. still the entire North part of Alderaan map was empty or Dedicated to Empire....

Same issue. Early game I was out leveling content, but I stuck with it and did the green quests. I'm in the exact same position as you now. The last 2 planets just havent had enough quests, lvl 43 and done on Bel.

I've tried to make up for it with space missions, and flashpoints... but I'm not gonna sit in fleet for 2 hours LFGing and not gaining any xp... so I don't do many flashpoints.

If you do no Flashpoints, Space Combat, or PvP you will be a little behind the leveling curve.

If you do all the Flashpoints, do Space Combat every day, and participate in a little PvP you will be way, way, WAY ahead of the leveling curve (I'm 5 levels up at the moment).

Take a break and do a few other things. The later Space Combat missions are pretty fun in my opinion, and they are graphically beautiful.

I did class quests/planet quests/solo side quests... skipped all heroics/flashpoints and still hit 50 with quests to spare.

Not sure what you did or didn't do :P There was a huge disparity in my June beta build but they implemented those fixes to make it possible to hit 50 without having to rely on space/pvp/heroics/rest exp/grinding.

This was also during the time period of wave 1 pre-release to 6pm release day (not that that patched anything meaningful lately).

yes i understand. But im not interested in spacecombat and i hate pvp. And Doing daily Quests is somthing for endgame not for reaching the next planet in line.

I just have to live with this and Struggle. Its sure is a challange and i like it. But for people who play as pure dps would be over-run by Silver elites witch would Burn them for life and its not enyable gameplay.

I will try some space and see what i can get from it. Hope i cover at least 1/2 level...

I did some digging.

Orange quest gives me 13 750 Xp.

386 490 XP on my bar at lv 45.

386 490 / 13 750 = 28.1


So i need 28 Quests to get one level without killing anying. Just getting Quest XP.

Voss level range is 44-47

So to get all 3 levels 45,46,47 i need 28x3 = 84 quests....

Voss only have like 40 quests. So im missing like 50% to reach 47.

Can someone explain how this works ? Cause i cant get the Quest XP together. Im missing ALOT of quests on Voss to reach 47.

And im not going to go around like a Lawnmover and swipe the entire planet of life to gain a level.

1 Lv 47 Yellow boss gives me 1947 XP Thats 198 Yellow Bosses i need to kill to gain 1 level !

You have skipped alot or missed alot somehow..... I hit 50 and didnt do but a handfull of flashpoints and skipped every heroic i couldnt solo and was always 2 levels higher than the planet i was on with the exception of Corellia and Illum.... you need to backtrack

Can my companion steal my XP ?

Im doing all quest and i explore every planet. But look above and see my calc.

I need to kill around 200 yellow lv 47 to gain 1 level.


It is me who have not Done Flashpoints PVP or Spacemissions. This is whats causing it nothing else. Dont say u didnt do any of that. Then you would have been in my seat. Im certain of it.

But its Great fun. I wiped 7 times before i could kill 1 Yellow Classquestboss lv 47. Its hardcore all the way

Just like to Add when i Dinged 45 i found : Voss Bonus Series - 1. This will give almost 1 level alone

OK UPDATE ! I BACKTRACKED HOTH AND I FOUND PLANET BONUS SERIES.... i THINK THE SAME IS FOR bELSAVIS AND QUESH. BUT NOT SURE.

I can Add that HOTH bonus series is : ORANGE quests. LV 47 !
