Hell, the VG on your team did more self healing that some of the mercs on the other team and the slinger on your team did more self healing than any on the other side barring the 1, possibly 2, healers that they had.

The point is, your team was simply not putting out damage. You can blame it on the mercs all you want but at some point, you have to admit that your team was just bad.

Either they didn't know their rotations, didn't know how to use dcds, they went lone wolf and tried jumping 3-4 mercs on their own, or a combination of all the above.

In the end, it was your team that was just bad.
Sure, I am not saying I was playing with a brilliant team. But the fact remains, these pvp warzones and more and more one-sided now. Keep ignoring the problems 5.0 has brought in pvp and pve and you will see there will barely be anyone left subbing in a few months.

Sorcs were worse with the healing plague we had going on at 4.0, and many other issues on top of that. No one is leaving, and if they do others come.

I am one of the ones who left during 4.0. I came back. That's how it is. Nothing stopped just because I left the game, and when others leave it won't matter then either.

We seen way worse imbalances tbh, and this isn't even close to being the worse it's ever been.

It is entirely possible that the reason you are seeing more one sided fights is that there are more unskilled players playing.

Think about this, the biggest change to PvP in 5.0 wasn't the class changes. It was the removal of expertise and the adoption of one set of gear for both PvE and PvP.

You are going to be seeing far more new players jumping into WZs with their questing greens and blues on with no real understanding about how their class, and the others, work in PvP. This isn't a problem between the classes, but one dealing with the skill level of the players.

On top of this, most new players are going to, more than likely, roll a Republic toon since they are the Jedi and the heroes. On the other hand, the Empire tends to have far more experienced players.

Now, this isn't always the case but it does tend to lean this way historically.

I respect you for holding your ground on this, but I hope you don't get all salty when the nerfbat swings, because it's been a long time since I saw something that was so clearly going to be nerfed.

Well. No matter what happens they won't revert back into what they were during 4.0 and earlier. I'd be a fool to think they wouldn't change though as all the specs do.

I just wish the merc healer would get something that gave them some sort of synergy with their abilities. I always enjoyed my commando healer, but man is it a clunky playstyle especially if you go the energy shield utility route.

The merc healer just has so many hard cast heals I wish something was added to them that made them a bit smoother. Plus their heals are rather lackluster in the big-heal department.

IO merc seems forever screwed. I guess to make it better they'd have to redo the entire system in it's abilities and they don't seem keen on doing that.

Anyway, this is retribution time for mercs.

It may not last forever, but it will be remembered. At least arsenal mercs got some love. The other mercs, no so much.

that's the point its not competitive it's OP. WAY to much survive ability in MHO. Bioware cannot grasp the trinity concept they never have.
Tank spec's absorb dmg they don't cause dmg they should never put out DPS ever!
DPS spec's reek havoc when it comes to dmg but shouldn't have survive ability of a tank
Hybrids shouldn't exist because they break the dam trinity however, if your gonna have them their DPS or tanking should never come close to pure class spec's be it DPS/TANKING

your class now suffers from the same lame BS that jugs do basically have 3 lives and it takes insane amounts of dmg to take down one. Which then leads to everyone playing the spec and that compounds the issue because now instead of being insanely hard to beat one we have now 3 or 4 or 5 merc's to deal with which breaks the dam point of the game.

Explain to me why there are 3 sins in the top 10 in solo ranked, 2 in group ranked and 0 mercs in either.

I mean, we're roflcopter OP, can tank whole raid groups, heal to full, and DPS out the wazoo. So we're obviously the best class in the game. But somehow, sins are doing better. Explain it.
