This thread is from before the solo version existed, and no, it doesn't drop in solo mode. Solo modes don't usually drop any rewards, they are tied to a story mission and the mission drops rewards, but if you do them by clicking on the npc near the entrance with the 3 mode choices it doesn't give extra rewards in solo mode.

Well tacticals are a pain, will rather spam HMs then.

would also like to know about this one.. ot's my favorite model and there's not alot of them around.. the ones with the ugly spike don't count.

This is simply not true. Solo runs still have chance to drop loot including decos, however the drop rates are stupid low. It was done that way so people wouldn't want to farm them, and just use solo for story. However, for the last two months of doing dvl, I've gotten at least 4 or 5 rare drop loot items. Maybe my rng luck is good, but either way, they all came from solo's.

Yeah, to corroborate this, I've gotten a Lhosan speeder (the yellow and brown one) from the solo mode of Taral V I think. But I haven't seen the Longspur Scout since 4.0. I last had it drop for me doing the story mode by myself (and companion) overleveled, which of course was before 4.0.

Interestingly, my guild did an 8-person story mode TOS two weeks ago and had a Replica Sacrificial Sphere drop, which I thought used to be HM-exclusive back in the 3.0 era. And yet, I still haven't seen conquered exarch bracers drop from the Paladins in the heroic Star Fortresses since the great companion un-nerf in 4.something.

Loot is all sorts of unpredictable right now.
