You can purchase them in the Cartel Bazaar from the Binary Star Realty vendor. Only problem is they cost Cartel Market Certificates.

Edit: You also have to have Hero standing for the Primary and Newcomer standing for the Secondary.

I actually think that ALL of the "cartel items" should be player crafted.
I can see mounts, emotes, etc as bing non craftable, but ALL armor and weapons and colors etc should be
and to prevent too much exploit, make the crafted item a non collection item Viola problem solved

Only if the crafting mats are available on the cartel market otherwise what your asking is for EA to make the cartel market pointless which is their cash cow.

You want black/black dye? Obtain some cantina codes and keep rolling toons until you get one then put the dye into a legacy armor piece. Viola

Yeah, but if you take it out of the legacy piece you lose the dye.

Um. Some mounts *are* craftable. For example, the Vectron crew skill series (Vectron Bioanalyst, Vectron Scavenger, etc.) - the schematics drop from missions for the relevant skills, and are learnable by Cybertech 500+.
