That is just one issue off the top of my head about this.
What do you mean? What happens now? What would be different? If I want, I can sell our guildship tonight and nobody can stop me. What's the difference exactly?

Disclaimer: Our guild is on Ebon Hawk and not interested in moving or mergers.

Now only problem I see is if the leadership wants to move servers and some of the members don't and will be upset that the guild ship will not be left there for them.

As I stated before, I am probably one of the lucky ones, we have always had a guild that discuss things and decides what is best for the entire guild and we supported our guild leaders even if the decision wasn't what we like.

The problem is the guild ship, guild stronghold, etc belongs to the guild yet some consider it theirs. Our old guild leader made credits and brought the guild stronghold and bank out of her credits but she is the type that told us no matter what happened they belong to the guild.

She backed up that statement as she turned over the guild to my boyfriend and myself to run as she is not playing right now. She never once told us to repay her or that they belonged to her. I truly wish there were more people like her around.

Sadly, this isn't how Bioware views it Casi, and that's not how it works. It all belongs to ONE player. ONE Guildmaster. If you can't trust that person, find a new guild.

Yea, I know Tux but that is where you come into problems when some of the guild wants to move and some don't. They start arguing over the guild ship/assets.

To me if the leadership has decided then it should go with them but then again like I said I been lucky to have good guilds. Even on SWG for the most part (one exception) I was in guilds with friends and we never had the drama.

I count myself extremely lucky.

I guess I don't quite understand still...? How does anything change if they gave guilds the chance to transfer assets?

The guild leader alone will make the call on what stays or goes...just as they do now.

Actually, BW is making the call and they are not allowing guild transfers with ot without guild assets.

I do expect that the temper tantrums from certain parties will continue, though.

What's with the constant need to deem everyone as having a temper tantrum simply because they have the smallest little disinterest in a part of the game. Yes some people go far and beyond were that title is worthy, but I constantly see you slap that on people who has the slightest negative thing to say about Bioware. It serves virtually no purpose other than to incite rage in other peoples opinions, perhaps I should start labeling as everyone who defends Bioware a fanboy to even the score?

The problem is some guild members don't want the guild leader to make the choice and don't like the choice and therefore they think if they want to stay on the server that the guild ship should stay there not where the guild leader and maybe the officers have decided to go.
