And this is why I think a week spent in a studio would be very enlightening (well, except for the selfish gits who really don't care and just want what they want when they want it). Also, a week working CS/TS.

But no one is asking for instant fixes, just give people an idea of what your focus is month to month on long-standing issues.

Example of something the devs have done nothing about for as long as the game has been live: My one operative has had the invisible rifle carry bug for four years now. Every rifle, every log in. Just her. I have three other operatives, plus all my other toons. They're all fine. New operatives I create and delete, ad nauseam. All good. Yet I can't even get CS to acknowledge its happening. I send in a bug report every few months and get the same auto-close, this isn't an issue, go look on the forums response. I know I'm not the only person with this issue. It's not like I'm special snow flaking and want some random unique thing only I experience to be fixed.

Is it game breaking? No. Did I quit the game over it? Obviously not, since SW is my Broke Back Mountain. But it's super irritating to be told something that is happening isn't happening.

.
It sounds like a very isolated issue, and not something which would be high-priority on a dev's bug-list. If it's not occurring on current/recent toons, and it doesn't effect the function of the game itself (only aesthetic), why would they prioritize it?

Bug fixing isn't something that you can fit to schedule, until the fix is actually read to ship in a scheduled patch.

That would be the ideal. The one we haven't seen since launch, though. So OP is asking to shift focus from new content w/ priority due to deadlines to bug fixes for a couple weeks. Which I'd totally support, full sub and all, because some of those bugs drive me crazy to the point of quitting what I'm doing, not the least reason being that they've been around for years and remind me over and over again why I don't like doing certain things (e.g. audio skipping/cutting out on PvE space missions since 2013).

This should not have been the case and was probably a bug that was fixed (and which you now think is a bug but is not).

Because our regular story companions never received affection from Flashpoints that a) happen story-wise before we receive them, or b) were introduced after 1.0. It makes no sense that HK-51 randomly would.

Hell, I think there is one conversation in all of Makeb (and none from SOR) where the original companions gain affection.

This was definitely my derp moment. I was thinking the rep was with Theron, rather than the random NPC's we get as companions from them.

Did Makeb change with 4.0? I haven't paid attention, but prior to 4.0 our original companions gained or lost quite a bit of affection with conversations there. Heck, that was one of the best places to gain affection for Ashara!
My name is Milind. I checked it again and can confirm you there is no bug with any companion in the game.

I've heard that Treek and HK can get affection from Oricon missions. Never tried myself

Erm, not sure if anyone has asked, but um, where can I get a pair of those dark side pantaloons?
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

Bonus boss in the Tython Heroic drops them. Requires Dark V
