You know that thing in your skull called a brain? Use it.

There aren't any resources like Elitist Jerks for SWTOR yet (that I know of), so you're going to have to mostly actually think for yourself.
Why can't I electrocute everyone I meet?

For all out dps id say this one

Youll never run out of mana and can deliver top dps none stop in long boss fights. force lightning upgrades and wrath is wonderful, the just put liek affliction on them procc wrath chainlightning the lightning strike (for reset cd chain even if only 6 sec and the regen buff) then go back to wrath procc for chain. It will be mucho solid for Pve although AWFUL for pvp.

This might prove more useful for single target Pve and you use deathfield for deathmarks then forcelightning and wrath for crushing darkness then a fast affliction then pump some lightning strike for buff and chain lightning worked in. this will not be as affective for aoe but pretty close and mana will still not be an issue. with this u get instnat whirlwind wich is wonderful. this specc will do good in PVP as well if you play your role as pure DPS even if i think a cc specced or hybrid heal will be better for pvp.

U have in both build the upgraded shock wich i would not use in standard rotations but rather as a filler when forced to move alot.

U can go for a all out madness or lightning and still do fine but i feel confident when i say a hybrid will do better. all out builds are abit simpler to pull off without a single mistake.

I find that often builds on forums go WAY overboard with the regen points since it is absolutely not needed in PVP but for the PvE part it will most likely prove useful.
