WHEN will my choices matter?

I'm the type of person who has never minded spoilers in anything. I read articles about TFA before I saw it. I read the last page of the last Harry Potter book before starting at the beginning. I read spoiler articles about The Walking Dead, even though I haven't watched the the last two seasons. I knew about how ME3 ended before I even played the series. You get the idea. My reason? Simple:

It's about the journey.

And that's how BW games typically are. Every book, every television series, every video game ends the same way. The protagonist wins. But the way that they get there is where the meat of any story really is. The journey.

Now, I will admit that currently the journey we're on is kind of linear, but I'm still enjoying myself. When I'm tired of running my 60's through KotFE, I create another character and run them through their origin story (Currently replaying Consular, Bounty Hunter, and yet another Agent).

It's a game. It's relatively cheap entertainment ($15 for a month is a whole lot cheaper than going to go see TFA, where one ticket is almost that much where I live).

TL;DR: I'm paying for the journey and, for me, the price of admission is worth it

Bioware, the fact of the matter is that with the direction you're taking, you absolutely have to make the game more alt friendly. There are tons of ways to do this - most notably making companion influence legacy wide - but there's one way it absolutely must happen, something you touted as a selling point of the expansion, and that is choices that matter.

Let's be honest. So far, they haven't. Like, at all. We got a new chapter this week, and the recognition for our choices was an offhand remark or two about whether or not we let the power plant blow. I'm not playing through that again with another character just to hear the other offhand remark. I'm certainly not playing through it 12 more times. As it stands, there is very little reason to play KotFE multiple times, and since that is absolutely the MAIN selling point of the game right now, this has to change. And quick.

I'd say it's in your best interest to answer the question, and soon, because with 10 people on Zakuul last night, I think your subs are dropping like flies.

I disagree with the OP's suggestion that our choices don't matter, as well as anyone who claims we must wait to see how those choices matter. It's pretty clear that we have a choice as to how many crates we buy and how we buy them. That choice matters. Do I choose to purchase crates one-at-a-time in order to avoid over-buying to get the one item that will define my SWTOR existence (until the next one item comes along, of course)? Do I chase value and buy hypercrates? If so, how many will I choose to buy before giving up? These choices matter, and they matter today.

Well with Chapter 10 there are some major choices. Sadly the possibilities are awfull. Your choiches will blow right into your face for the first time you do this particular Chapter. Taky my warning and do not play at first with your main. You'd might be quite upset with the outcome.

Choices do matter.
Do I spend 40 bucks USD or whatever Euro dollar or whatever currecny you have for a hypercrate or do I go fill my gas tank up or buy lunch for a week or two.
You decide, it's your life and your choice.
