Vote kick for story?

That is where my original comment came from, about escaping from the conversation.

One time, all 4 people claimed to be spacebarring. I escaped out and said "gosh, it must be bugged if everyone is spacebarring, lets try again".

Same thing happened, escaped again. It did not take a third time.

If there is anything I hate, it is someone who is dishonest.

While Kaon and Lost Island don't have "solo modes", their story modes are not raised to 65, they were left at lvl 50, so they are a walk in the park to solo if you're level 60+.

I know because I didn't have the achievements for the story mode versions for 25 runs, I was a few short, when I discovered this, an evening of speed runs solo fixed that.

You make some fair points actually, as to the above, no idea, I tend to burn out after about the 5th or 6th alt and go do something else.... I have known players to really grind though, not something I can do. Now multiple characters running multiple heroics? Something I can do all week if I feel like it.

Trouble is I always get sidetracked. Sometimes even by watching cutscenes in flashpoints....

Because it wasn't stated as a requirement or expectation up front .

You want a speed run? Ask in general chat for a group that wants to do a speed run.

You want to go through groupfinder? That means, to me, that if someone wants to watch the cutscenes that everyone shuts up and watches the cutscenes.

Just because you may have seen them all a hundred times doesn't mean that everyone has.
Just because you may not have any interest in watching them again doesn't mean that someone else might not want to.

And just because three players are okay with skipping cutscenes, it doesn't make treating the fourth player like dirt okay.

Something where a dev says "and we have solo flashpoints now so you can watch cutscenes without wasting other players' time"?

You are welcome to feel that way. But if two of the other three people don't and vote kick you, you're still leaving...

You want to watch the cutscenes? then run it solo. See it works both ways.

Those in group don't have any choice but to leave the group, with lockout for penalty...while the person holding up the other 3 has the option to run it solo and take all the time they want.

So please...get out with that crap. One person is putting 3 others out and making them spend extra time in cutscenes most have seen 100x over. Again, these threads are stupid as the "victim" isn't the person getting kicked for holding 3 others up.

If you want to take your time and see the cutscenes then go solo it...you're not above everyone else in the group.

You people have no argument. And your "if you go through groupfinder" is absolutely stupid reasoning. Want to watch cutscene but group doesn't? you have option to go solo it. The others in that group don't have such an option. It's selfish and inconsiderate.

SW:ToR is a game that was designed to be story oriented, even in flashpoints you have cutscenes (not much, as I said before, other than esseles they rarely have any). A wipe can take more time than watching the cutscenes.
And as I also said before, whenever I'm leveling a new toon, I always watch cutscenes the first time I run them with it (the other times I don't care). I won't do them in solo mode, as I like challenge and group content. You may disagree with me, but then again, you can vote kick me from the group and if it succeeds, then you can enjoy the fp your way, I sincerely don't care. I just put that group to ignore list and requeue.
Fortunately, it's not much of a problem, I see someone spamming "SPACEBAAR" in like every 10th flashpoint and even then the others don't care, it's just only one person. So I very-very rarely get a group, where all 3 people want to skip everything. Plus spamming "SPACEBAARARRA" doesn't encourage me to skip cutscenes, on the contrary.
If someone asks at the beginning of the flashpoint, that he is in a hurry and please skip cutscenes I would gladly cooperate. But I ve never seen it happen.
