I had the same kind of issue with our start-up's hosting company, we only had 3h downtime tho, but your architecture is probably much bigger.

Keep on calling :-P and good luck fixing this whole mess

Actually if my internet service goes down my internet service provider ends up having to provide some form of recompense.

Unlike here. ToS and all that. My internet is cheaper than a SWTOR subscription as well.
REFERRAL LINK - Previous subscribers get seven days of subscription, one Complimentary Character Transfer (and more unlocks) - New players get a Jumpstart bundle with unlocks, for free!- Literally the small print

EA/BIOWARE, I know you don't control the internet but is there anything you guys (or I) can do to remove zayo/abovenet from your path? (god how I loathe BGP)
There is nothing wrong with those hops , they have ICMP turned off .....

There is only one login server IP address and for just a login server issue , the first thing is to try and ping Launchpad.swtor.com , if it responds it should work, if it doesn't respond there is likely a routing issue

An if you phone them just like needing to phone the ISP they would likely offer something as a good will gesture, seen them do it lots of times

oh yeah derp! yeah that explains why my traceroutes go through fine without any packet/probe loss

well the login works fine, i'm getting the "inifinite spinning thing" that others are complaining about. Seems like I can make it through to EA, no obvious routing issues (traceroute is showing all probes returning with < 100ms roundtrip times), c'mon EA fix your crap!
