I rather unsub than getting new augments and mk-9 kits for all my 12 chars when i just finished gearing them all. Wait until you raise the level cap to 70, it just makes no sense right now.

I guess it's a good thing I haven't really done much with my gear.

I think that is essentially what they are aiming for; slotting in craftable mods and augments at the 208 level because it doesn't really make sense for these to be drops only that have to be reverse engineered. We had that situation with the level 26/27 gear still being difficult to get hold of (recipe and mats-wise) after 3.0 came out and I think they are keen to avoid a repetition of that scenario.

Don't you give them ideas .... but it may be too late and now that you said this, it wouldn't surprise me as well.

It would at the very least be less painful if Bioware simply transformed the current max gear, augments and augment slots into the upcoming max versions, so people who already went through the effort wouldn't have to start from scratch AGAIN.

Because I know Im seriously considering giving up if crafting returns to square one AGAIN. I know crafting is one of the most problematic aspects of SWTOR currently and Ive been saying that a lot, but rebooting everything before we even know if this is a solution is NOT enticing.

ps. I dont understand why this even would be a solution to anything, anyways.

Uhmmmm ,wasnt people in this game for story?

I dont think there is any need for pretty much anything to see the KoTFe amazing storyline where choices matter.
PvE Ops are a joke, no need to regear anything for that.

So again, i can only se this hurting Pvpers (if they still play here)..... that poor guys will need to buy augments again to fight each other without gear gap.

In the last 2 years they received nothing, but had to regear several times already.

People I think you understand it wrong .. I understand it that levels of augment will remain, just you will need top skill to craft them.

Do not panic until you have some real information.

I would welcome the new stronger augments :-) in the way you think it comes, but it is not ...

I will be optimist regarding augmenting. Please consider if new augments are introduced it means our toons are getting stronger. As far as we know many of the OPS bosses are joke in difficulty so increasing the power of the toons/class performances makes no sense to me. However if this is another tool to make the game more easy, yeah than plausible. Also with new augments should come class balancing. Another thing I don't see happening. And to be frank it's just stupid to introduce new augs after around 4 months.

However we'll see.

Fingers crossed, but be prepared for Murphy's law: Anything that BW can **** up in SW:ToR, will happen
