Yeah, with this one the objects just stop glowing for whoever 'picked them up' but remain there for others (I've stood there twice waiting for whoever cracked the box to collect theirs then still been able to click for mine). After a while the chest resets and whoever is next has to do the chains, but until then anyone can wander up and grab them. It is not obvious though, and certainly one of the few times it works that way, so I understand people that think they got screwed over and get upset

Let the mobs beat the crap out you, or send the companion in to let them get the crap beaten out of them - but ALWAYS click the clicky before you start to fight them. If you die, you still got the objective/loot.

that works with many. there are some that wont allow it if you are in combat. maybe that programmer was in a bad mood? no idea why

I usually just put the person on ignore and move on.

There generally isn't anything in the open world worth enough to get upset over.

I'm not sure why the devs put the mechanic in to stop you looting some items while in combat but it goes a long way to helping the rude runts of the game that like to ninja loot while you kill the mobs guarding something. I'd be interested in hearing their justification for it. I'm sure someone had the intention of making us actually kill mobs before we could loot and vanish or otherwise run away, but all it does is encourage some pretty nasty behaviour.

Whatever, you have pretty much zero credibility now. 15 minutes bwhahaha ... sure thing slick All I really see in this post is I'm a victim and want Bioware to change the game to fit my interests.

I actually thought this was a thread about the developer and community teams.

Yep, because waiting that extra 2 minutes on the outside was way too much trouble, when you can just jump the node while the guy's fighting the mobs, right? That's the usual logic behind node jumping, and while I don't know of anything in game that takes 15 minutes to respawn, I know I'll wait on a node if someone else is clearing it. Sometimes to find out that I could have jumped it, because they just wandered too close and aggro'd everything... It's not required, it's being polite. I know that's a stretch, or next to impossible for some people, but some of us understand it.

I love when people do this to my assassin, or my Operative. I stealth out of combat, and let them fight the mobs, it's killed more than one person. I've also been known to return the favor, and karma is a *****, I got a guy on Ziost doing that to me, I jumped the next two nodes he was clearing for the one he jumped on me. Watching him cry in General was just extra seasoning for my bbq. It never ceases to amaze me how much these entitled whiners cry when you play their game on them.
