It would be interesting to see if the 'new' Dreadseed areas have been level synced to a planet as well rather than retaining their level 60 requirement. If so it would suggest that level sync affects the whole planet rather than specific zones.
They are synced. The "event" NPCs are synced (Bounty targets, open world Rakghoul victims). I haven't seen a single over-cap NPC "on-planet." (Remember, the Rakghoul tunnels themselves are not part of the planet - they are a separate zone.

The only boss I ever recall having trouble with was the boss on Belsavis in the Consular story, but only because I refused to use the med tanks. It was really close fight. (2 strongs and the elite boss who had Juggernaut and Sorc abilities). I was shadow with the spec that has the self healing attacks. I forget the name.

One of the boss fights in the Knight story on Belsavis (with the lady pureblood) was also slightly problematic, but that had more to do with how crappy Sentinel was and how crap of a tank Scourge was. If I was a guardian or used T7 I'd have had no issues.
SWTOR gameplay edited like a television series

Well you're not there for the challenge, but because you've waited 50 levels to finally off the guy. Which you wanted to after the first cut scene at the start.

So always wanted to say kudos to Bioware for that.

You would be wrong. Teeseven killed him within seconds of the encounter starting and he was only like influence 4 since I did not use him at all after I got Kira. It was a complete letdown.
And now for something completely different!

Yes, it's a referral link. Now, watch as I pull a rabbit out of this hat.

And it's already in-game anyway as a possibility. I'm level 65 in my Tattooine SH.

Lame as hell. Was it always like this?
To be fair, all story "boss" fights have been lame since the first few months after release, when they initially nerfed them all into the ground. For the first few months after release, they were tough fights, providing some actual sense of accomplishment. After that initial nerf several years ago, you've been able to do them all with your eyes closed, using your nose to push keys on your keyboard, so it's a bit misleading to say their lameness comes from the changes in KotFE patch.

It'd be more accurate to say what was already an incredibly lame and easy fight(s) has/have managed to somehow even be lamer. Though, on a practical level, does the degree of lameness matter between lame and super lame? They're both lame.

Strongholds are weird. You have a "long" transition screen in and out, but you share planetary chat, and show as being someplace with the same planetary name as the host planet. Whatever they did for Strongholds could be applied to the final chapter zones.

All get synced down, even bosses. The only solution is to wear lv 10 and under gear (not that I like or support lv sync).

Baras was the first end of story fight I was extremely disappointed with. It was also the first i had under level synch. Back in the day ...

My first character was a Jedi Shadow. With 1.0 you had to bring a friend or two and hope he didn't bug out. Sounds like the old Baras was similar. Having spent an extended time away from the game I found 3.0 or so refreshing when I came back. 4.0 is different..
