We'll have to wait and see, i really do hope that we get to customize our companions in a way we have used to customize the old ones in the future. Hopefully soon.

This is a serious annoyance let us put what gear we want on our Companions......the stats on the gear doesn't have to effect the character in anyway. Why would you remove the ability to customize the way our comps look?

I really can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet. If it's intentional and not a bug, then it's an incredibly stupid decision that will cost them money. People buy stuff from the CM for Companions. Customizing companion gear is a money sink that's good for Bioware because it gives players more reasons to buy things from the CM, and good for players because it's another activity to spend time on in game, and gives us more customization over our "personal saga". I had been planning to buy Thexan's armor set among other things for Lana, but unfortunately Bioware doesn't seem to want my money.

There's nothing broken to fix. What you guys want is an adjustment or change to the way it is, not a fix. I've always believed they're just keeping the same look so that each character establishes an identity within the narrative. Once the story is tied-off and complete I'd be surprised if they still weren't customizable but we won't know until that point in time.
