So you know it's in a bad way, so you decide to make it worse? Pretty good MO.

Thing is, these "actions" Bioware is going to take isn't going to fix anything. People can make fake accounts to exploit and launder their credits easily in a matter of TWO MONTHS, especially now with level 60 tokens for quick access to endgame. What would it cost? $15 for a months sub + a couple mil for a character 60 token to make an infinite amount of profit?

Any other reputable MMO would have shut the servers down immediately and hotfixed the exploit within a matter of hours before bringing them back online so no one could abuse it.

This.....this is just dumb. It only took 2 months before they decided to fix it. Shows how much they actually care for this game. You would think people would notice when gold spammers on fleet drop from almost $3 per million to $1 that SOMETHING might be going on.

It's as simple as this. They call it an "exploit". It's not an "exploit". It's a computer programmer's coding error. Punishing someone because they are smart enough to discover it and use it is, in fact, punishing the wrong person. They are playing a game, and part of playing a game is finding the best ways to win or advance. If you caused a coding error that they can use as a "cheat", good for them. The only people who should be punished for using this exploit should be gold sellers, because they aren't playing a game, but are actually stealing from the company (by causing players to more easily reach the end game content, get bored, and unsub). But they should be punished anyway (but really aren't). As for legitimate paying players, what you should do is high five them for being intelligent enough to figure it out, do a quick coding fix and implement it (instead of hiding in wait like a spy and treating your paying players like criminals, potentially causing them to leave the game whether you permaban them or not), and then move on.

Maybe, apart from taking back cash, items, influence etc, I'd suggest a debuff (-5% on all stats) , ban from gtn (for 1-8 weeks), and a "Cheater" title always visible! Rather than losing your subs, make them suffer in-game!

Yap. 100 percent bans are the way to go. No if, ands, or butts. If you are doing something you know is wrong and are exploiting the game's system, you should be banned. Absolutely!

So reselling is now an exploit? according to previous posts so might as well just get rid of the GTN apparently.
