And even that's not entirely the case in my experience.

Went to Coruscant: Face roll.
Went to Ord Mantell: Face roll.
Went to Quesh: Face roll.
Went to Nar Shaddaa: Face roll.

Really, the only question is how you handle your damage mitigation now that you can take damage. Sending damage out to enemies is just as easy as it was before... though you may have to press more than basic attack.

YES! A LEVELY SYNC COMPLAINT THREAD!

Let's get started shall we? Level sync is seriously sad. There is zero reason to complain about it. You can still solo everything, even the Oricon Heroic. It's just as easy as it EVER was regardless if you are a solo player or not. It takes only a few more buttons to kill a mob. Literally nothing to complain about, and the level sync also makes leveling 10x easier. You could literally farm the heroics and gain level after level after level along with an absolute metric **** ton of credits. Seriously if there is anything to complain about it's lack of new raids... level sync is probably the dumbest reason to quit this game, because it doesn't really hinder you at all ESPECIALLY after the fact companions can have near about 100k health in tank mode.

It feels like a single player game. From the level syncing - to the required events and world bosses. And etc. when you play the expansion 4.0. Use your heart. Ask yourself does it feel like a single player game. Why are am I being forced as well?. Just saying.

Yeah you either have to block access to given areas until you've done X, or you have to give them level ranges so people have an idea what to expect. The first option means absolutely no choice in storyline, you couldn't even skip over some content. So that's clearly a bad idea. Imagine that playing though PvP or FP's didn't actually accomplish anything, because you hadn't done a given PvE mission. Would people actually prefer that?

Besides level sync is only one way. A lvl 10 on Coruscant is still lvl 10 on Voss. So levels do in fact still have a purpose. So if it does nothing but gate content, it's still a useful system.

And yes, taking a lvl 10 character and trying to tank a lvl 50 FP is not going to be a fun experience for anyone.
