Wrong, and should feel bad. I can still group. With level sync it rp value went up. All good no bad.

And yet, apart from what I saw as a fairly ok narrative, the rest was both disappointing and short. Big areas where you go back and forth, doing almost nothing in between, mindlessly killing trash that is one-shot for the most part, mostly not even grating kills towards some bonus mission, wiping the floor with bosses that are supposed to be the primary antagonists of the story (all so the ensuing cutscenes show how they toss you around like paper). If love good stories just as much as the next guy, but is this something that will keep me playing the game on and on? No, that story is finished. Sure, I could do it on my other toons, but it's not like it's going to be that different (even though they said we'd see reflections of past choice everywhere). Put another way, if story is the primary focus of this mmo (which requires you to be subscribed to get new installments), why is there so little of it?
That's the problem with "snipping" and deciding to reply to one part of a post; you remove all context. It's a common practice on the internet known as cherry picking. Since you didn't feel the need to address the actual post, but just one example given in the reply to another quoted post, again removing context, you can save the lecture. I understood the intent of the thread, fully. Perhaps even better than you did. I replied to someone's query about why people feel the need to bash others for a dissenting opinion. My reply to that query was met with what?

It took me about 9 hours to play through the purple missions. I am in orbit above the first of the green missions, and realized that it was 3 AM. The irony to your question here is this: What difference does it make? If they had included an Operation in the content, it would be done already too, and people would be here asking the same question you're asking now. If they'd added a couple of maps to the "1 2 3 GO" PvP, it would take at the most a couple of hours, maybe, to have those maps played, and people would be back here insisting on more. It's the nature of the beast, and it's not unique here.

I my self was fine with their focus on story when i heard number 16 chapter i though to myself well that should be fun. And point is evening worth of cut scenes and 20 min of steaming through mobs doesnt make up for the absence of content that didnt get released because of this "huge " story.

And that girls and boys why we cant have good mmos. People seem to forget whats the point of being a part of community
Oooooh, i remember what means "being a part of the community". Knowing that is why most people DONT want to be "part of the community"

But guess what? I grew up in the meantime. All the "good" MMOs are dead, or changed (due to necessity) to be "not good" MMOs.

Seems that your "community" cannot support ANY MMO. Even EQ which is now small indie game rofl

It should be coming at a decent pace.

So yes, it is fine the game is lacking in content. You still got things to do in the game, and alliance stuff to grind while waiting for the next story to come. If that is not fun for you. The new SWTOR might not be for you.

I just don't see that people put up with such a bad game for so long, and now when they change the focus and streamline things. It is "Not enough."
Again even you failed to provide any real things to do. Alliance system is such a cheap sloppy excuse for filler that you shouldn't even go there. Its not just " as long as some likes" its beyond amazingly short and if anything looks like content patch rather then xpac that should last us year or so

Its no wonder since mentality of younger generation spins only around themselves. Thats partly why i think well never gona see good mmo, simply because majority want be one man armies and stars of every show, but it doesn't stop one man from hoping
Sometimes long 5 years of hope crumbles down in 1 day . #GG

I was hardly playing before this update,

but started play yesterday, I've not completed on any of my toons yet.

I'm actually looking forward to being able to do the old FP's and OP's with my guild, this will be like new content for a while.

I actually love this new update, I'm really pleased with what they have done, but I suppose it takes all sorts. So if you're leaving can I have your stuff
Reading the Forum, just shows how stupid some people are. Which probably includes me for getting involved

Yeah, earning 100 million a month, ...man, its on life support. I doubt Blizzard even remembers its running.

The actual problem is the age of text messaging, where people are too lazy to push three more buttons. This isn't an MMO, it's an MMORPG. Just because you want to try to separate the two parts to make some kind of point doesn't mean that it's a point worth making. Contrary to what you want to believe, your needs aren't the only ones that are important.

On a separate note, I find it ironic that people are complaining about the "grind" all the while lamenting no new ops...

You havent heard the news on WoW, its like, not all over internet lol

Its on life support considering how much Blizzard inbests in it nowadays, they know its in downward spiral, that their "magic formula" is not working any more.

Its also why they squandered 100+ million $ on Titan and then cancelled it.
