Millions of people left WOW when they made changes and hyped changes that were massively disappointing. I know several people who were planning to return and once the changes in SWTOR was published decided they would not. I decided I wasn't interested either. I paid the subs on several accounts for the last several months just to get the perks and jump into the awesome new content early. Today it feels more like I'm playing SWG again where things were constantly being redone rather than improved and expanded.

you're entitled to dislike it based on little reasoning, the same way they are allowed to like it.
Guess your right I need to rethink things after this fiasco, reading post like this and others where ppl have felt the same, been mislead by ads for EA. ..... I played at battle of illum last night with a 12, 62, 55, and myself, we do make great effort to level while many can now ping into everything worked hard for... (I'm frustrated atm) ...I too much to ponder.

Actually millions left WoW because of lack of changes. In fact its changing TOO slow, as Blizzard doesnt really invest much in it any more.

Whenever soomene mentios "worked hard for" in same sentence with "MMO" i really think they should get of their asses and come to me to show them what is hard work.

But what did you enjoy? And why? I'm curious because a lot of people are saying they enjoy 4.0, but don't say what and why. Apart from the story of course.

And what I expressed was, in my mind at least, a perfectly civil opinion. I find it interesting how those who support the current changes most of the time do so without any argument at all, it's just "love the story", "love the changes". Why? Can you support it with more than just "ty Bioware, I love you 4ever". In a lot of cases benevolent criticism leads to improvement. But sure, tell me to go play WoW (which I have never played nor do I intend to).
I meant to quote this earlier

i totally feel you, i'm in the same boat. i stopped subbing this summer because i felt this coming. after the SoR debacle i felt this "expansion" would be just a short quest chain.

instead it's worse, they needlessly changed so much of the gameplay, stats, companions, crafting, that this game has nothing left for me. they completely dumbed everything down and it's barely an mmo at this point. if you really want to feel bad, check out all of the wow expansions and see how much endgame content came with each iteration. bioware is an embarrassment.

only thing i can try to enjoy now is lowbie pvp with friends.
