Why is it always Sents/Maras?

I get it. They've got 2 sabers. They're great at their DPS. But why, WHY do sentinels and marauders (more than any other class, based on my experience) pull fights before the tank, or refuse to take out the weaker enemies first, or just stand in AOE attacks? I've just tanked through two flashpoints where I was trying to explain to these guys why it's important to let the tank pull and to take out the weak first. Is it something about the class itself that attracts people who refuse to listen to reason? There needs to be a "Group Content 101" tutorial explaining basics like this.

Those aren't the real sentinels/marauders. They are alts of smugglers/agents.

One might as well ask why dogs chase cars, or why flies can never figure out how to get out of a window once they're indoors, or why the guy in Group Finder who queued as a Healer but insists on DPSing is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS A SORCERER.

You're like, "Dude, these classes are not subtle in their design. We can all see that you're shooting lightning."

Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown.

Or they are constantly ruining high damage AoEs by using overload at the onset of every trash pull ....
Let this sink in, this game is Free to Play, boasts one of the most popular IPs on the planet and yet 76.47% of the servers are empty.

The class does attract bad players. It gives players a chance to relive KOTOR, where they got to rock two sabers and pull everything.

It doesn't matter what game is it, there is always that one class that always draws a lot of the bad players. The super class that is the fastest dpsing solo class. You are always going to have those people that don't care a lick about getting better or playing as a team. They often get carried through the group content because there are enough people that will turn the other check and just deal with it. The huntard from wow, the huntard from lotro, the mara/sent in swtor heh. You always see the question about it on the forum for the game, which class is best and fastest at soloing?!

"Why aren't you healing?"
"I'm not a healer."
"Why did you queue as a healer then?"
"So the queue would pop faster!"

You have to think of that extra lightsaber as being like the training wheels on a toddler's bike. Maras/Sents just haven't gotten to the point where they can graduate into being a Guardian/Juggy.
