The 1st character I ever created was Shadow. Took me 2 years to finish the story. Taking me 1 years to finish the story as DS because of 12xp.

Since creating my 1st Shadow I have finished Sin, Sorc, Merc, PT, Op, Snip, Mara, Jug, VG, Mando, Guard x 2, Scoun, and GS all before finishing my shadow.

Personally, I really enjoyed the JC story. I play healers mainly, and imo the consular is one of easiest healers to learn. I L2P with a consular. I remember being STUNNED when I figured out who the final Chapt 3 boss was. While it's not the best story (personally the SW tops my list), it certainly wasn't the worst (stares at my trooper who's been lvl 32 since December). Give it a shot.....you might like it!

Btw....my fav list would be.. (And I mainly play male characters)
1. Warrior
2. Smuggler
3. Inquisitor
4. Jk
5. Agent
6. Consular
7. BH
8. Trooper

im almost done with chapter one. I don't care for the story. But Im doing pretty good pvp. Im a shadow tank. Its my first tank job. I like the fact that I never get close to dying in pve. I hope the story does pick up cause it seems a bit of a grind compared to the sith stories. So far my favorite story is sith warrior.

Santa wearing full mandalorian armor will come and give you a surprise if you do. But if your bad he enslaves you and forces you to play FFXI till you go insane.

The Jedi Knight is a hero who happens to be a Jedi. The Jedi Consular is a Jedi Master who happens to be a hero.

its good, I dont know why people like the warrior / knight story so much. I feel like those 2 are the worst. They are storylines directly tied to eachother and really make me feel like ive accomplished nothing in the story except make a name for useless accomplishments.

Out of all the pub stories the Consular one is probably the least cheesiest

Knight: see above
Smuggler: Han solo clone
Trooper: I dont think I need to elaborate.

I have to agree with this. I've played all the classes through their stories, and Consular is by far not my least favorite. I know ... glowing recommendation. But after playing nearly a dozen Sages on multiple servers, I confess that the story seems to drag at points. I've only recently begun leveling a DS Sage, so I can't speak to how the story plays for DS Consulars (other than I figured out to use Treek instead of Qyzen out of fear the big Gorn would murder me in my sleep due to negative affection).

But Rowan's point is, I think, the most salient. Consular is perhaps the one class for which I always felt I was playing my archetype: a Jedi. In this case, a Jedi who accomplishes heroic deeds. As much as I enjoy the Agent and Bounty Hunter stories, there are time with each at which I don't feel like I'm playing an Agent or Hunter.

I'm old. I have white hair and a beard. I pretty much look like my forum avatar. Perhaps I just enjoy playing a know-it-all diplomat-healer who is old with white hair and a beard. Jedi Knight is a young man's game. Give me a wizened space wizard every time.

heh. it actualy made more sense to me, when mixing it up, including first chapter. there are some conversation options that are a bit too sithy, but if you are careful, its possibly to make those darker choices without sounding demented. and you really liked ls/neutral better in terms of voice? I personally found it flatter then maleshep paragon delivery :/ Nolan North is one of my fave voice actors and I still have trouble with male consular... unless I go for snarky options.

I never really liked the Consular's story until in really high levels.

The End-Of-Chapters were really good, though.

I always find these kind of complaints in BioWare game utterly ridiculous. Romance options have been clearly indicated in every BW game, so people who complain are either just trying to meta the system picking option that give most points (which are often Flirt options) or just click at random...
