Before patch game was playable with my old laptop, had constant 20-25 FPS, bit jumpy but playable.

How game breaking is adding a button "Disable fog", it is nice see realistic environment but I'm guessing low specks computers owners don't care about "nice picture".
Nor me nor other low specks computer owners will not rush in to shops buy a new computer because 1 game. And buy the way WoW works perfectly with minimum settings.
My laptop is still fine for what I'm doing, I don't need modern gaming laptop or computer.
Time learn make games finally, who want "eye candy", throw everything on them but who don't, let them minimize effects as much as possible.
Good start would be allowing players select Direct X shader model (AKA DX9, DX10, DX11) and allowing disabling fog from options.
Agreed, getting the same problems x_x

That's my experience too. I had absolutely no problem regarding FPS during my weekend beta. I made it up to Nar Shaddaa so that's 4 worlds visited and it was smooth.

Now since I have hit Taris it has been an horrible laggy mess. For some reason the loading times even take longer. I thought that it was just my machine that couldn't handle this more opened areas but Balmorra that I have visited on my imp during beta is as much open as Taris and I had none of these issues. I am now on Alderaan and seriously considering to stop my journey here, it is simply unplayable.

I have continuously lowered my setting and I am now playing on 1024x768 (seriously!) and everything on Low or disabled when possible — so let me tell you that it looks more horrible than a game released 10 years ago — yet I still suffer the same issues. Am I supposed to go down to 800x600? And if that doesn't do anything, what's next? I can't go lower, thanks the Maker either way I guess I would be in for 640x480.

And to think that my machine can play a demanding game like Skyrim all fine... And to think that we were told that TOR graphics were this way to allow people on low end systems to be able to play...

It is obvious that 1. this game is horribly optimized and 2. we need more options to play with: drawing distance, fog, etc.

the problem isnt ur pc, cuz ur not the only one with this problem ... i got lvl 35 +/- without this drops of Fps and then it started after the launch of the game and it still suckin until now and for what ive seen chaging the size of the screen in game doesnt game a bit lol the drops still....
in my computer a can play Skyrim,NFsRun fine

Its too obvious, its a really great game but there is a majorly, severe, dibilitating servers LAG issues that is totally degrading the gameplay and if its not SOON addressed, it will be their own game killer.. wake up and address this problem.. I personally believe the game was pushed out a tad too soon for the season shopping and all, hope its fixed because its unplayable at times and I won't subscribe to unplayable. Thanks and good luck.

That would be my guess too as my experience during the first days of Early Access was also smooth till I hit Taris.

want to play so badly, but i can't get over 7 fps anywhere. I know that they're working on this issue but we're supposed to get 30 free days of gameplay and so far i think i've got around 20 days left but i haven't played a lick. good business would be renewing everyones free 30 days so we can take in a full month of the game lag free and with good fps.

My FPS is generally okay in most situations.

However, in warzones I have a serious issue.

When it begins, it is okay, but as soon as I engage an enemy player, the friendly and enemy players seem to bounce around, disappearing and reappearing all around me. All the while, none of my melee abilities can connect because it reads out of range. This is extremely frustrating and has made PvP impossible for me.

I have full green bars on my latency all the while.

BW sry to say that but thats it!
I was forced to stop playing the game 2 days ago because of this issue and since the customers are obviously still complaining about this issue I wont start playing anymore until you fix this problem. i would love to but it doesnt make any sense to me to simply avoid warzones/ pvp (what is btw the reason why I bought this game) and to go lvling my chars when there is no sign of fixing this issue soon or at all...
I already ordered another game, which I was interested in, to play it now. Hope u gonna fix this matter coz I still would love to continue but I cant without any assurance that something will happen...
