Actually I had absolutely no problems during beta - constant 60+ fps no matter what I did. It was the patch introduced between last weekend beta and EGA that broke the game for so many people.

Huh. I have yet to read those patch notes... Makes me very curious what was changed that had such a radical effect on so many people. I too was in the beta (albeit for only a weekend) and from what I remember the framerate was steady at around 50-60. That was around a month and a half ago so I am sure much has changed since then.

8 days since launch and we have still not recieved an update on this issue. On the contrary it seems like they are patching things in that make the issue worse. This is the buggiest and most unplayable game I've ever seen and I don't mean in terms of MMO's usual problems like quests, interface, skills or NPC problems. I'm talking about the graphics engine (HERO) this game is built on. To bad they chose this engine, I really enjoyed parts of the game but unplayable PVP is an absolute deal breaker for me.

Bring on Guild Wars 2, at least those guys know how to use an engine.

That Bioware won't come here and give us a update on this issue makes me a little worried.

I hope they won't kill the game with bad costumer support. The game itself isn't bad but the engine definetly is.

Then you would think it would be pretty easy to trace the problem for the BW developers.

I'm certain there are no user fixes for this. All graphics settings have been tried and it is affecting people on computers that only just met the system requirements and people with the highest spec gaming rigs.

Personally, I think the GFX options are knackered. Whatever I do with the options I get no more than a 1-2 FPS change. Switching between high and low settings makes almost zero difference. That can't be working as intended.

Im also a tad worried they cant fix this, when you look at the game it doesnt look like it should run bad.

I was hoping the last patch would fix thing but that was wishful thinking.

Love the game, but the fps make it no so fun to play.
