Classes play a HUGE role in the enjoyment of Huttball. Some classes simply perform far better than others in it.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

no. they don't. experience and knowledge do. what I mean by that is I HATED hutball when I was new to pvp and I HATED huttball when it was the only same faction WZ. I THOUGHT i was useless on my merc. that's simply not true. EVERY class can get ahead to get a pass or a leap target. every class can use positioning to deny leap targets while doing dmg. every healer can heal. and every tank can advance the ball. matchmaking and class can bork things but not class itself.

We disagree. Obviously experience is #1, but the right classes make it easy.

yes. and no. know your role. if you don't HAVE a carrier class, then you're screwed and life sucks and you're pissed. I get it. but you don't have to BE the guardian to enjoy it, play well and contribute.

Dat absent-mindedness. Having more than 1 pvp dev might prevent stuff like this...
Kakarrotx/Meleehealer/Brawlly/Trunkkss/Whatashocker/Asparaguss/Kakadot/Lettucce/Greenn/Radishz/Burdok

I agree that some classes have more obvious roles in the objectives. And considering anyone protecting the middle is called a deathmatching noob, I understand why they think their class is bad at Huttball. You don't need leaps, stealth, or rolls to be an asset to your team.
I have opinions and stuff

You act like carrying the ball is the only roll in huttball.....which is probably why so many people dislike it. Its sad how many people dont understand the entirety of that maps meta.

the only people who hate huttball are people who don't know how to play, or refuse to learn how to play. now that's it out of the rotation, it's the same maps over and over again. yesterday i must of played coast like 12 times in a row. today it was voidstar....BORING. Until they make some new wz maps, we need huttball back. i hope it's really just a bug.

I often top objective points in huttballs on my guardian or mara or shadow or scrapper (when I played one more regularly). Even in landslide losses I will usually score or make a key pass to someone in scoring position so my side isn't shut out. I still don't like Huttball at all. It's got nothing to do with how relatively good I am at it.

I feel like the Huttball matches are one of the few things that make SWTOR PvP decently unique. Hopefully they'll patch this bug soon.
