voidstar is one of the worst map designs in the original set. too many stalemates. but quesh is by far the worst imo. followed by ahg and CW. CW is actually a good map, imo, it's just poor scoring. cuz the game can be over and you still sit there waiting for the scoreboard to tick away for 5 minutes.

No arenas = the quality of PvP just went up 1000-fold. Best PvP change ever!

Huttball...meh. I guess that can go back in. But arenas can go die an excruciatingly painful death.

Increase the chases to pop a huttball after that!

Thanks Alex. Huttball is one of the few reasons I still play this game.

Please keep it this way. At least for a few weeks. Maybe you don't notice this bug, or have 'technical difficulties' fixing it.
No Huttball and no PVP Arena = best ever. I'm sure that's intent. They have realized how crappy it is.

Too bad, just a dream.

funny huh, you can choose what OPS you want to play, you can choose flashpoints and even can choose in group finder what groups for what of those you want to play but you cant choose your pvp style funny that.

I think its time to allow players to choose but as Ive said many many times we would need some sort of cross server/mega server, 1 instance for all players to do that and to ensure we have enough players and a way to prevent the win trade temptation as much as possible.(it exists we all know it)

As we approach the big expac I wonder with the story being mangled as badly as it is, as outlanders since there really are not factions anymore can we not see clear to creating that 1 instance for pvp?

If maps are really not that popular and I know numerous players hate arenas, allowing us to choose would accomplish 2 things

1)make a lot of paying customers happier
2)almost instant feedback on which maps are liked and which arent, numbers dont lie. Once BW knows this youll be able to change or remove those maps that are despised and then you can better gauge what we, the player base, likes and would continue to pay for in a subscription. ie more money for you!

Sure some premades and guilds will make noise but if they would think about it, anything that can improve and increase the pvp pop is better than just providing certain maps that some use to steam roll constantly and drives players away.

Some love deathmatch and some dont, but I believe both can be satisfied with this change. Bioware its time

I wish we could decide wether we want to include huttball or objective-based matches in our preferences. For the time being I am going to enjoy proper warzones.
Only baddies hate huttball.

You go ahead and select specific FP's (btw you cant choose ops anymore, its on a rotation) and watch how long you sit in group finder (hint, several hours).

I know baddies that love huttball, because it's one of the few maps where you can be bad and still contribute to your team winning just by knowing how to run and pass. It's only terribaddies that hate huttball.

And that second part, change several hours to forever and it'll be closer to the truth. You'll sit in the queue for 3 hours go the bathroom and it'll pop when you're in the middle of your business just so it times out and makes you sit in the queue again for another 3 hours.

The issue is that there isn't any 1 map that all players don't like. Take Huttball for example. Half the player base loves it to the point of never wanting anything else and the other half insta quits when they load in.

FPs and Ops also have specific rewards to encourage each one being played at a given time. There are 6 categories currently used to determine what pops (AHG, ACW, NC, HB, VS, and arenas). If you allow players to remove options, I would say reduce the rewards by 1/6th. So if you only want to queue for Huttball for fun, you can do so with no impact, but if you need/want the full rewards you're incentivized to queue for everything or at least as much as possible. Alternatively, only count games towards weekly/daily if you have all maps turned on.

But I would still say leave everything in queue.
I have opinions and stuff

hutball = best
quesh huttball = is okay actually. better than the other maps we have at our disposal, elevation is good
acw = sit around waiting to win/lose, requires one person guarding off node. boring
something coast = same thing, requires guard, stand around waiting to win/lose only takes less time. not as bad as above.
voidstar= the only nice thing about this is the instant death ledge you can knock people off of into death...and that's it.
AHG= this one is alittle more dynamic, stealth cap is easier and guard is forced to move every 2 1/2 mins. although it's still easy to determin a win/lose in the first or second rnd.

and... oh wait, that's it. so yeah only huttball maps are good.
