No video proof, but I've watched my full white bar drain while I was hanging suspended in the air from a sorc's whirlwind.

Resolve is a crap system.

The defenders of the current stun (CC) system will point out that of course it drains while hanging, that's because you weren't fully white barred when you got suspended.

The current system sucks. All stuns should break on damage imo...if you can't kill a class without removing their ability to fight back, that's a balance issue and Bioware needs to balance it better.

CC is fine, with the sole exception being Backlash for Sorc. It either needs to be a heroic utility or fill 2-3 times more resolve than it currently does. Other than that there isn't a problem with CC. Yeah Flashbang and Awe are annoying, especially when you weren't even the intended victim but got caught in it anyways, but it's really not a big deal Resolve's only issue is that it decays while out of combat (e.g. when you're in the respawn). Fix that and the CC in this game is perfectly fine.

We disagree.

Resolve is misunderstood, misleading and creates far more frustration than it should...simply because of that fact alone, I assert that Resolve is "broken" and needs to be fixed. Resolve, not any particular skills, is the heart of the issue.

I disagree, CC needs to be strategic. When you have a plethora of stuns and cc effects available to every class, strategy goes out the window and you get what we currently have, which is a cc spam fest. And resolve is a crap system.

Not surprising, however, considering how many of the devs came from Mythic.

That whole "there is too much CC" argument goes right out the window when you can only be hit by two regular CC's before being immune. Outliers such as Backlash and Spike either are a very close range CC or have specific requirements that don't allow them to be used too often. If being hit by two CC's is too much for you I don't know what to tell ya.

Almost a non factor considering how long said immunity lasts. Like I said above, I hit full resolve from a whirlwind, and it was virtually gone by the time whirlwind expired. This resolve system is a massive joke.

White bars don't drain while you are still CC'd.
