Apparent lack of ability to empathise aside, it is a lot of hullabaloo about nothing. As noted on like post 2, relic and cheap vaccines. As noted within posts after, simply don't stand near exploding peoples.

Then there's those of us who don't like the event but aren't complaining, & are instead simply not logging in until it's over. Is there a problem with that? Does that stance display some sort of significant personality disorder of the type you're flinging about?

And you'll say it every event going forward. PvP on the fleet is never going to happen and you know it. You are doing the equivalent of asking for Wookiees as a player race. But, whatever makes you happy.

That would make sense only if the game rules said something like "If your character is going to be within 10 meters (or whatever) of an infected player character when it explodes, your character must be unvaccinated to eliminate the possibility of fooling the player of the infected character into thinking your character will help their character progress their daily quest or their infection achievement.'
