Why play an mmo if you are so traumatized by an event such as this? If it's not fun, don't play it. This is pretty much the only thing that forces you to deal with others in a very minor way in this game. Its a very minor inconvenience at best.

Yeah I don't get how people complain when it's BW intention that you do exactly this. It's the same QQ over the Gree PVP Zone....

it's been like that since they released i9t. At least with Strongholds and flagships, and decided finally not to play this week, it's be a blast .

It will never change, grievers going to grief.

And no I dont have a problem with the Gree PvP zone that really fun this event just sucks

Well there is a daily to infect a certain amount of people, so working as intended.

There is an achievement to infect a certain amount of people, again, working as intended.

There is a quest chain you can do for rep to get LEGACY BOUND relics that cure the plague. Questing is hard apparently.

You can get on a mount to bypass the "stun" from the coughing fit. Clicking a button is hard too i guess

Stay out of busy areas on the fleet, buy a relic/vaccine, there are myriad sollutions to your perceived problem, its up to you to enact one.

I'm not traumatized by it. I was pointing out that people are defending something that in every other walk of life is consider unacceptable behavior except for between CONSENTING adults(actually some places it is illegal either way). And some people basically attack those that say they truly don't want to be a part of it yet still play as if there cannot be a better choice. I personally just not play during the event so I don't have to deal with it one way or another. I find it needlessly frustrating so I opt out, but then I have other games I want to play.

However, there is no reason that people should have to deal with those people that want to grief others when with a little simple forethought(or even afterthought since this has been an issue since the event started) and it wouldn't matter? MMO's are not just for people that want to hurt others enjoyment of the game.

The vaccines and relics are "supposed" to do that but they always had issues and still don't work as needed or are gated when opting out should be an opt out. So I don't get the added resistance to correcting the issue that is still there and shouldn't be. All as if the person being griefed is in the wrong.
Forever and always forward. New/Returning referral link(you and I get free stuff)
Please save me from the shortsightedness of developers that think they are clever.
More family tree options
Yeah! I just made Legacy Level 8. (and I didn't even get a T-shirt)

There is no issue. Event is working. Any other ruleset and the event would be a pointless one.

TOR is not a "walk of life," it's a computer game. I really hope you are not trying to analogize spreading the rakghoul plague in TOR to some kind of real-world activity.

There are quests and achievements for infecting others. It is NOT grifing if someone infects you during this event and there are plenty of ways to not get infected that have been listed dozens of times in this thread. What is really griefing is having 4 people who are not infected stand close to each other and then me exploding on them and finding out they have the relic that prevents infections or that they took the vaccine. That is ruining my enjoyment of the game and preventing me from completing quests. Those items should be removed from the game.
Dear BW,
Please nerf paper and buff rock. Scissors is fine as is.
Signed, Rock.

Use one vaccine and your problems are over, nobody can infect you then for hours. It is like 2000 credits or something
