Who then appear in a cage in the Rakghoul Tunnels on whichever planet is holding the event when they resuscitate. This would add an interesting wrinkle.

I enjoy pissing off players either out for the achievement or just trying to infect others by standing in one spot for a while near them, as if AFK.
Most don't notice I'm already immune so when they pop they get nothing.
(A few times I'd wait til they were nearly ready to pop before I would immunize myself. Thet REALLY pissed them off. )

I would go even further than saying getting infected or dancing or sneezing is "not that big a deal." I believe it is primarily the fault of the "victim" for failing to protect themselves if they choose to opt out. Like I said, the tools to opt out are readily available. Anyone who decides to leave their characters exposed to shenanigans should not complain when they get shenaniganized.

But to be clear. There is nothing wrong or stick-up-our-rears or humorless-fun-slaying or at all not in keeping with the spirit of an MMO with those of us who choose to opt out. PvP is a common element of MMOs and I opt out of that every time I log in by refusing to click that Warzone icon on my mini-map. The developers offered us the opt out ... it's part of the game.

Ah, yes. Aside the fact I also said duress, the target of it is the "pathetic" one. And what the person that is getting their enjoyment from trying to do this to people in a game is some how the normal one?

First the vaccine is on any medical droid on the fleets, and lasts for several hours. Secondly wants the point of calling it a plague if the players cant spread it among themselves. One of the things I look forward to this event is ever so often watching someone explode and infecting people. Also again the vaccine costs 5k, another words pocket change.
I was on fleet for at least 30 min earlier and didnt even see anyone infected.

Yes, a person playing a game according to the rules of the game and enjoying it would be the normal one by definition.

OP is ignorant of things like communicable diseases. It's all about prevention. You can get a vaccine from any droid. Use the vaccine, never get the plague. Don't use the vaccine, then become an infected spreader of communicable diseases - like everybody else.

Simple, isn't it?

It does not, and that is the whole issue. Since in PVP you die a lot and will invariably become infected and have it interrupt your channels and whatnot, or consume tons and tons of vaccine. In other words, this event KILLS pvp. That is the reason angry people are angry. If devs made it so that the vaccine persists through death the event would be fine.
yet many of the people that are complaining that it hurt their pvp tell people that get flagged against their will to suck it up. "you should have targeted more carefully" dont enter pvp matched with infected people and it wont be a problem.

Talking about those that enjoy it for the affect it has on those people(ie causing greif) doesn't really change the fact whether the rules allow it or not. Never even remotely implied that I'm talking about the people that enjoy the event for the event itself. Two totally different things.
