So the JK class story is bad game design?

If you're not trolling, are you saying there is no difference between infecting a real, live person with a deadly disease and infecting their computer game character with a deadly disease?

Are you the guy on the LotRO forums who said slapping his character was the same as slapping him?

It's an in-game event. Just go with it.

I take the precautions provided to insulate myself from those events (e.g., vaccine for Rakghoul Plague and disabling LOTRO forced emotes).
I was in favor of adding the option to disable forced emotes in LotRO and I'd be fine with them doing it here, too. But unless and until they do, it's just not that big a deal if someone makes your character dance or sneeze or explode. It's pixels on a computer screen. Really.

And you know it's a bad day for the other side when OddballEasyEight and I agree.

One of the funniest things about this event is that although a vaccine pack costs 2K from a med droid, you can also buy it on the GTN for 4-20K. And they sell.

That's not griefing, that's people who buy them being idiots.

I was making a joke. If people are dumb enough to buy a vaccine off the GTN for 4k+ (or a Jawa flowergram for 5k, etc.), it's no skin off my nose.

Since it *is* a PvP event, people with the plague should be flagged. That way, you can do what the announcer in the imp fleet says and eliminate carriers on sight.
