You can't do crating 100% off-line. You have to log in to get the results and send your crew off to do new stuff.

But your hyperbole is noted.
I'd debate with you further, but it's not even worth debating about. I actually feel bad for crafters that waste their materials on Conquests.

Were you scared I might have been speaking for you or are you just trying to argue with me? Disagree with me if you'd like, but have the courage to state your own opinion if you do.

My statement that you quoted contained ZERO hyperbole. None. My house could literally burn to the ground and my crafting would continue. The queue, once filled, needs no tending, it's 100% hands off. Logging back in requires nothing from you either. Crafting can be done 100% offline. Queuing items is the only thing needed.

The current conquest system is a terrible joke that rewards players who don't play with others more than it rewards those who do.

P.S. To all the 'sour grapes' responders, is it really too hard to for you to just say 'well done' and leave it at that? Your grumpiness sheds an unappealing light on your attitude to more than just this game!
Well done for what? Actually, I am glad he did it because, as pointed out by others, it highlights what is wrong with Conquests and why Conqs are completely meaningless and useless for the most part. Other than that, there is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, done in a video game that is worthy of any praise, let alone a foot note in the annals of history.

You know who deserves the well dones and praise? The people putting their lives on the line every day to protect their fellow human (and animal) kind, as well as those who work tirelessly to save the lives of others, and to help improve our society as a whole. Get real man.

"You are free blah blah blah". No ****, so why make such a stupid and useless comment then? Ooo someone can log in for a few secs so they're technically playing! lol it's pitiful that you'd think that a point worth posting.

Why? If it weren't for conquest most of the materials would go back to selling for 10K or less a stack as opposed to 100-200K+ it usually costs the x8 conquest mats during conquest.

Thus people can not do conquest, spend lots of time or their crew skills time gathering resources to make money to buy items they want etc. For them conquest is great even though they don't do conquest.

Also judging by the scores that get turned out week in and week out it's still very popular regardless of what you or anyone else thinks about how the scores are earned.

Being that I can sell stacks of war supplies for 3 to 5 million each during the weeks that allow for repeatable invasion force tells me that guilds and players still happily favour being top dogs ( plus the achievements and titles, conqueror of the galaxy is quite sort after ) and happily use crafting to achieve it.

But some people here seem to believe that crafting should be removed so only those players who don't have jobs or study etc. should get access to the top of the charts by running content ... seems that's no more fair than how it is now.
Funny thing is you CAN still get a good score by repeating a lot of content if you so choose, nothing is stopping you. Is it harder than crafting? No, but it's a damn site cheaper.

I'm sure there are tweaks etc. that could be made to encourage conquest more via other forms of gaining a score ( yet to see too many unbias suggestions that come across as fair and balanced ) but I don't think any tweaks should come at the expense of totally destroying crafting as a viable means of doing conquest.

You get zero points if you don't log back in to claim them and how many of your houses are going to burn down for you to get a decent score to make your point of view actually relevant?

If your house ACTUALLY burned down you probably wouldn't be logging into SWToR regardless so you wouldn't be getting a score from playing either.
Even if you could go elsewhere to play one would think during that week you would most likely have more pressing concerns than conquest being that your house burned down so probably wouldn't bother logging back in to get your first lot of crafted scores ( which in the scheme of things is stuff all, you tend to need to queue and re-queue all week long for any sort of significant score ).

So no crafting cannot be done 100% offline, you need to login to queue many times and you need to log back in to get the score. So yes your post was quite literally fully of hyperbole as was pointed out. That doesn't need to be a negative thing though does it?

Also you then make assumptions that the players who do well in conquest aren't playing as much as those who choose not to conquest. What is your basis and evidence for this point of view? I often do well at conquest, you have proof I play little?
What about the contribution crafting for conquest puts toward the economy of the game that many people benefit from in various ways?
Should be discriminate against players who don't craft etc. for conquest because we make assumptions that they don't benefit the economy in any meaningful way?

Also what rewards are we talking about here? The rather simple to gain weekly reward that you certainly don't need to craft for and will get nothing special if you get the required 35K vs 350K? The also rather simple to get top 10 guild spot for the other weekly reward? You can pretty much easily get a top 10 spot on any server without crafting.
Or are you only talking about the title? Although the title is sought after, one could argue if conquest is so terrible then the title would be rather meaningless and almost laughable for wearing it since it would just be a crafting crown?
So please do point out how conquest is rewarding "players who don't play with others more than it rewards those who do." as I fail to see what on earth you are talking about other than more hyperbole.

REALLY hope you're not talking about the military there or any military for that matter. That would be a discussion for another topic though.

Thank you OP, thank you for highlighting the major flaw with the entire system. In other MMOs, crafters look forward to making things...in SWTOR they look forward to playing solo and winning conquests...
TUX, very true indeed. No 1 Person should be able to do this. IF KOTFE is nothing but Solo, than it's no long an MMO, just a Stand-alone game, which i will Not be a pat of if that happens. MMO's are supposed to be for ppl to group up and do fun things..

MMOG= Massively Multiplayer Online Game, that the Founders for MMOG's and MMORPGS made these games for GROUPs of ppl to be able to play together, Not Solo.

All the haters are forgetting that 840'000 points of the score were from heroics on Nar Shaddaa . Take the crafting away i would have still come in minimum third position but more likely first.

They also forget that to gather the amount of mats required to make the extra 2.4 mil of points (bare in mind there were no crafting bonuses last week) took about 6 weeks of constant farming.

The haters should try it themselves. Only then would they realize how much truly mind numbing hard work went into the effort.
