Yeah there will always be bugs in every game, yes its the coders fault but that doesn't mean to take advantage of it when it clearly tells you not to.

Bioware posted that the exploit was a thing not two hours after the patch went live.
People still exploited it.
Those people deserve what they get.
End of discussion.

Bioware warned us in the launcher to NOT exploit that chair. You had to really work to take advantage of that exploit. Selling a 1 cred item over and over and over before it even started to make a difference. The people who did that were fully aware of what they were doing.

Heck, I am always broke (Thanks stupid strongholds and not paying attention when I buy things on the GTN (oh, that said 300k credits not 30k.) and I never even entertained the idea of doing that exploit for cash.

Let Bioware take whatever actions they need to.

I have noticed many new players (Entirely new to the game in fact) lately.

Yup... since wednesday, I've made over 20.000 CC from referrals only. Almost all of those were completely new subscribers.

Most of the people just click on the link and do not subscribe.

You do know that I don't get any CC for those who don't subscribe, right?

Bad phrasing on my part.

I got a few 600cc people who chose not to be a sub after the initial referral.

Apparently some people think it's not, and that is mind boggling to me.

Ok, let's be sure we're both on the same page here.

You (I) get 600CC if someone who has clicked my referral link decides to start a subscription. Then you get 100CC for every month after that they stay subscribed, yes?
You (I) get nothing at all if they click the link and don't subscribe after the first 7 days of free subscription. They have to actually pay money to the game for a subscription to give us anything.

So me having gotten over 20.000 CC since wednesday means that at least 33 people have clicked on my referral link and THEN signed up for an actual subscription (of any length of time, but a minimum of one month), yes?

So there are at least 33 new players that joined since wednesday on my referral alone.

Compared to my usual rate of referral CC, that's more than a 600% increase of people subscribing.

So sure, they may not stay subscribed, but that's not the point. The point was that there is a sudden large influx of new players right now.

What the heck! And don't ban speed hackers in PvP too! Wait, they already ignore them for months...
Btw, players who dumb enough to use exploits on their mains DESERVE it.
