Yes but they aren't all evil to the umpth degree. There are varying degrees of Evil as well as a few that believed that wholehearted devotion to the Dark Side would be the Sith's own undoing.

He was effectively, at that point, a Jedi with dark side abilities. But really, the issue is that the structures and rules of the Orders are irrelevant. Abilities were based on the connection between the force user and the respective halves of the force. As for whether the Jedi order would "approve" of force lighting? Well... we don't really see that in this game so who cares?
No he was not trained as a jedi he was apprenticed to a Jedi knight that went into exile. he was a sith apprentice that seeked to kill or stop Darth Vader. I don't believe he was redeemed I believe he was a tool to the Jedi knight that "taught him" and he was rebuked when he did dark things. the powers should have changed the moment he was "light" as using the darkside warps the individual

I disagree with you, that's not trolling. You're trying to dismiss the existence of Light Sith and more, despite people showing you evidence to the contrary, that is holding on tightly to your own perceived head-canon.

Based on what is considered canon these days, SWTOR doesn't even exist. As something that is patently non-canon, trying to force current canonical ideologies on it is ridiculous. It's like trying to say that Heath Ledger couldn't possibly have been the Joker because the Joker died at the end of Burton's Batman. You're trying to force a square peg in a round hole.

You are free to believe that. You are wrong based on the story though.

the evidence to the contrary was a miss-translation that they can exist.

This "miss-translation" [sic] is your invention. I.e. head-canon.

no its not its the fact this game apparently read the novel too and assumed it can be a thing, but it can't he was a force user with lacking of tools or instruction of the darkside if he had them he'd have fallen and been dark he'd have been sith not some poser sith that is considered a "set back" to the sith

Considering himself a jedi doesn't make him a jedi also in your argument a sith can consider himself "good" and be evil. Darth Sidious

Star killer re-embraced what jedi heritage? that of his father being a Jedi?
