You 'knew' a great many things about Wildstar, too. How'd that work out?

With the news of KOTFE I feel an air of relief and positivity in the community we have really needed. Until you have finished the new expansion keep it to yourself.

This was because contrary to first impressions, ME2's characters were -great-. Even the mediocre ones had their moments.
I think with ME we got great companions in each installment. To me the worst disappointment when it comes to companions was Dragon Age: Inquisition. I really couldn't make much of a connection with any of them except Varric...and well he wasn't new.

But yeh no matter what BW announces somebody will upset and such is life. I am looking forward to where this is going myself.

Sarfux,

We both know he has always been negative. I have gotten to the point when he posts in a topic, just to ignore him as he is always negative about something.

He's like a bridge troll, quiet for the most part, comes out eeeeeevery so often to throw a rock at people crossing the bridge, but largely irrelevant.

In any event, the OP makes one good point: it would be quite well if people would stop with the faux prophecies of either doom-&-gloom or bunnies-&-sunshine.
There was a thread in the lore section not long ago complaining about dark side/light side choices and I made the point to him that the concept of star wars is very black and white. I hope I didn't give the impression I was upset with the morality behind star wars, as that is not the case. I'm just upset with the choices taken regarding the new characters. It's not even cookie cutter so much as it feels like trying too hard. "Ooooh, look at me, I'm the dark prince" "I'm the rulebreaker" "I'm the vengeful justicar" "I'm the veteran with a chip on my shoulder". That is what those little character descriptions were, and it was cliche to the point of being funny. I feel like even if the morality of star wars is as basic black and white as possible, the characters within it don't have to be so rehashed it's a joke.
Let us not go to the chiss homeworld, 'tis a csilla place.

I honestly don't understand why people are so hyped about this. I mean, this is the company that considers the monolith to be a full op and the two different line of dialogue in ziost to be continuation of your personal story.

To me it looks like another Forged Alliances type story which is fine; I'll play though it for the story and to see what changes but I think a lot of people are getting unreasonably excited about it.

The big question for me though, is this: Has Bioware increased their QA staff? Because if this new update is as buggy as SoR (all the bugs in Cora/Underlurker, meat tree, huge lag, Rishi datacrons, etc.) it might make more sense to take about a six month absence from the game to give time for the bugs to get fixed.

Okay the thing is 'what it looks like to you' is objectively wrong based on the information presented thus far.
So.
Yeah.

But can we talk about the list of characters? Their descriptions have got to be the most mary sueish things I've read in a very long time. When I read the blurb for the first time, it had been copy/pasted, and my first thought was "nice try bub, but no self respecting video game company would be that cliche." Guys this is tumblr fanfiction level stuff. I'm not posting the specific descriptions because I like having posting privileges, but I think I can sum up my point nicely by saying that there is literally a character with the title "the dark prince" and an equally pseudo-edgy quote to boot. Now, with the exception of the new character list, I love the direction the game is taking. I just pray to all that is holy that those character blurbs were a rough draft, because right now I am legitimately worried you hired Stephanie Meyer as your lead writer.
So you been thinking for a good part of a year and a half that we need something new, something new is announced and you've already decided it is bad . . . Don't wanna spoil it for you, but;
