Knights of the Fallen Empire: The Death of Endgame?

Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ – The largest story-driven expansion to date, Knights of the Fallen Empire, marks a renewed focus on cinematic storytelling in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The expansion will deliver on the hallmarks of what makes a great BioWare™ game: new worlds to explore, new companions to recruit, and a dynamic story that players will be able to shape based on the choices they make.
I would very much like to see a focus on the core game. Admittedly we have very little details on the expansion at this point but if we get anymore focus on story they aren't going to have much resources for Operations and PvP.

We haven't seen a new PvP map in over a year, the 3.3 changes are just tweaked values on a vendor and the AoE changes play really poorly.
Last raid tier was released early December and Monolith is a joke of a boss with RNG loot to artificially extend the time that people do it. No new content announced and no NiM.

As much as I like story I like raiding and PvPing much much more.

Edit:

"I want to be really clear to our fans out there who are deep MMO fans. We're not forgetting about that part of the game either," said Hickman. "We just have a focus right now on the story. We're doing lots of stuff around flashpoints and operations and raid bosses and PvP and that stuff. But it's all about story this year.

Okay no end game content this year.

This is a silly post and you should feel silly for posting it.

could you be anymore 'Chicken Little'? We have nothing more than a blurb about focusing on story more and you're running around, talking about the 'death of endgame!'

Hence the second sentence. We have no new end game content announced and the press release focuses on the RPG part of SWTOR and not the MMO part.

Some aspects don't need to be mentioned with every PR release.

Calm down and stop freaking out because they didn't specifically say that they were adding new raids with the new content.

I agree. They released a tiny blurb with no specifics. It's even a bit moot to speculate on whether or not the new companions are Theron and Lana.

It amazes me how people can read a 10 line blurb meant to generate excitement and interest and be able to tell
everything about the new expansion from a hype release. Good grief.

Guys,

One of the new companions will be Mace Windu. After getting his hand chopped off by Anakin and thrown out the window by a laughing Palpatine...

The former jedi master had to survive by eating out of trash cans and sleeping in boxes in the filthy alleyways of Coruscant. Sometimes he could be seen standing at Speeder Freeway Exits holding a sign asking for credits-

Until one day the Force told him to do things that set in motion his time transcending encounter with the main character player. Missions will include getting Mace Windu a worthy robot hand to replace his lost one, and a shower.

Robo, please put spoilers in the appropriate bracket.

Now I won't buy this expansion. Totally ruined for me.

Not everyone is into Ops and PvP. It's just the fans of those two playstyles that declare that they are "endgame". You need a balance to support all players.
