It's about making a choice. You choose to kill enemies, you should expect to be a target for their allies.
You could also choose not to attack NPCs/players of oposite faction and you'd be left alone.
Running around killing everyone in sight without consequences put the game in sleep mode. Too wasy. Too boring.
You wanna be a hero? The biggest hero in the movies, Han Solo, had a bounty on his head. He dealt with it and so could you.
Oh and please stop your whining about " ooooooh it's forced pvp ". It's not. YOU make the choice of your actions. If you can't handle the consequencses, don't fire your weapon. Simple as.

You and DeeLaNie are really making the bait rounds, huh, Lover.

What qualifies as an NPC of an opposite faction? Because that sounds like MOST OF THE ENEMIES IN THE GAME.

I suspect you've never actually played this game.

Every single class has at least a handful of instances where they are required to kill opposing faction NPCs. I can't think of a single planet quest that doesn't require the killing of opposing faction NPCs (Maybe Imperial Tattooine?) Many planets have areas that cannot be traversed without stealth (or following behind someone else) and without killing an opposing faction NPC. In standard play, this would result in virtually every player being flagged for your silly "bounty hunter" mechanic. The choice would be between "Get flagged" or "Never progress beyond Coruscant/Dromund Kaas". Though, to be fair, no Republic class would be able to finish Coruscant without killing an Imperial NPC, so you'd have to quit early. Imperials could ignore the Republic troops on Dromund Kaas, but if they did all of the available quests, they'd be tagged pretty early on, too.

It seems a bit odd that you spend so much time coming up with ideas to improve a game you've clearly never played. Perhaps you should try playing it, and maybe try to take the time to learn how MMOs work, and just build up a little bit of experience with video gaming in general before you try to come up with ideas for improving them. Your lack of experience in these fields (in particular, your lack of experience with SWTOR) results in non-sensical ideas that simply cannot be implemented.

Listen first off all, organise those events as Players..

So ask players to volunteer to be the BAD uber guy!
And then be ganked and killed.

Instead of acting like a A..hat wanting to gank people.
And exploit the system, your last line says it all.

Happy Community is a prosperous community.
Why do you need a system that involves players interaction, when it is already provided and onlookers can watch or participate, sure sounds a bit unfair and acted and play scripted. and in no time people will exploit that competiveness by mass ganking.
But the BAD guys atleast are doing the rest a service by being BAD instead of griefing.

About people moaning it is too easy, lol I would worry when they don't moan.
MMO are always full of moans and complaints. it is when they are silent things go wrong.
Then people just leave and do something else.

I know this a troll thread and I'm not sure if this was a serious response, but this sounds like a decent idea. Kind of like a manhunt mode in FPS games. We could have an event and probably change the scope a planet, maybe two or three where the "hunted" would be. Everyone toggles their flags and goes on a hunt. Cap the time at an hour. "Hunted" player wins if they don't get found or they survive the PVP onslaught.

I'll have more thoughts later. Don't need an official game mode for it, but it'd be nice to see some kind of player bounty system supported from BW with that opt-in only by players so as not to screw the rest of the people just enjoying their personal stuff.

Ok. This is really off topic but I must ask you something.

Have you given yourself the title of "community ambassador" because you actually think you are an ambassador and are roleplaying that type of purpose?

Or are you just doing it to incite flaming wars and get people steamed with your self proclaimed titles like some of those other people do?

Seriously now. Because you have "community ambassador" in your signature. Is it something bioware has told you you are for them? Has eric contacted you and told you that you can be a bridge between them and the forums? What is it here? What is all this? Because most of the time when I see your thread starts or posts they are really either controversial or seem like they are made to start a little something.

And then to top it all off you go "a happy community = a prosperous game". Well thanks captain obvious. We didn't know that (that was a joke, don't need to be overly defensive or sensitive).

So, what is it? Why do you proclaim yourself community ambassador?

Well, I'm Queen of the Internet, no really I am. Have been for several years now. See, I went to this digital lake where there was this lady in the lake holding a sword, at least I think it was a sword, well she said it was a sword. She was all like 'Will you be my queen? All you need to do is hold this sword, and you will be Queen of the Internet.' I was like, okay, I'll hold the sword, not that it felt like a sword but, whatever. So, now I'm Queen of the Internet, the lady in the digital lake said so.
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?
