Bounty Hunters? We do need that scum...

That's right. I got your mission pal so you better watch your back.
We all like to feel the rush of excitement and this game doesn't provide any. It's a safe journey from start to finish. Kill as many enemies of the opposite faction and nothing happens. This gotta change.
It's time we introduced TEF - temporarily enemy flagged and player bounties.
TEF means; attack a NPC of opposite faction and you can get attacked by players of said faction who come to assist their allies ( the NPCs ). This would increase immersion of a galactic war and make players use tactics when playing. It's completely immersionbreaking to see i.e imps killing reps in front of other imp players without them being able to assist.

Player bounties should have been a non brainer since the Hutts are so heavily featured in this game. Each time you kill a NPC or player of opposite faction, a small bounty will be placed on your head.
Kill enough NPCs of opposite faction and you'll have a large enough bounty on your head to go on the BH mission terminal. Other Bounty Hunters would then be able to take your mission and hunt you. 1 BH pr mission so we'd avoid gank squads. These missions would be exclusively to the Bounty Hunter class. If defeated, you lose nothing but your bounty. If you win, the Bounty Hunter would lose some BH prestige/ranking or something.
How cool would it be to be the most hunted man in the galaxy??

Many players feel that the game is too easy and boring. Spice it up with these changes and get the wow-factor back.

Or more like a good opportunity for BH trolls to harass someone trying to play the game. And honestly I would imagine only few people to like it. Very few. And also some people may not even do the BH weekly missions. I'm sure there are other reasons this isn't a good idea.

And another thing, you don't represent me.

If you want this kind of immersion, jump onto a pvp server. What your first suggestion is implying is already partially in effect in the game. If you run into an opposite faction base on certain planets, you become flagged for pvp. Happened to me the other day on Hoth. Accidentally ran into the imperial base and was flagged. Can you guess what happened to me? That's right, I was chased down and murdered countless times. Even when I waited at the republic base. The imp's would send their companions after me to avoid themselves having to be killed by pub guards. Had to go in, what felt like to me anyways, a time out in my stronghold until that stupid pvp flag finally reset.

The bounty on your head for killing opposing players and npc things would only turn off a lot of non pvper's. I would certainly not want players chasing me down. I hate pvp. It would become a gank fest, group or not. This would only really benefit players of endgame level anyways. What would stop level 60 players from grabbing bounties for level 30 players? Would you want 60's rushing to wherever you are and killing you when all you're trying to do is quest?

I (and so money others) did not join pvp servers specifically to avoid this type of gameplay. If it was limited to pvp servers, sure. Go ahead and have fun, but if they implemented this sort of thing on non pvp servers, I am sure quite a few people would angrily flock to the forums and begin writing all kinds of nasty letters to the developers.

How about no. This sounds like a good way just to upset a whole lot of pve players. Pvp servers are that way --->

^ Ditto.

SWG is dead. Let it go, let it go, don't hold on anymore, let it go, let it go, that game is so very dead. ~🎵

The OP's idea is awesome, for the small handful of people who still play on PvP servers.

The rest of us are on PvE servers for a reason.
