I'm curious what healer it was that was causing trouble to the point that you want lower cds on interrupts. Was it multiple healers cross healing with a tank?

I realized it more when I played on my healers. Before 3.X I was forced to move around and kite more even when there was only one person on me. I still do it, but sometimes I realize, "hey I don't have to do much of anything against this guy". Even if their playstyle isn't bad it is just too easy. There are of course some exceptions, but those exception classes already have low CDs on interrupt.

Not agreeing with me is fine. But answering the exact same question over and over and over just because someone refuses to read one line up is kind of annoying (and rude on their side), telling someone to L2R is not being a jerk when that person actually did not read.

We had a shorter interrupt before, and that did not prove to be a wise idea. It's not a mechanism to dumb down the game, but it would be if with all the controls going on, one can squeeze in multiple interrupts between CCs.

The "Immortal Facetanking Healer" phenomenon you observed, is in most cases not the result of interrupt CD too long. It is the result of guard being wildly overpowered. There has never been an MMO with a GCD ability that offers 50% damage reduction.

Well, before it was as low as 6 seconds, mobility wasn't as good as it is right now and there was more pushback. With pushback being reduced, mobility raised and in 3.3 casted heals doing more healing, I don't think making melee interrupt (which has to be done in melee range) 10s and ranged interrupt 12s would be as harmful as it was before.

@foxmob: see when people read what I wrote and ask questions I reply politely whether they agree or disagree.

They should at least lower the CD on the merc/mando interrupt.

Unless someone can come up with a decent argument as to why a merc/mando needs a 24s interrupt while the other ranged classes have an 18s one.

all ranged interrupts need to be long. they can use them from 30m away. lol

warriors have too much tied to leap. so that's a 30m int, but it's complicated.
