Would someone care to explain the whole interface when you open "My Account" My product registration is grayed out, yet I have redeemed my pre-order code a while back. Are these the same things?

Thanks, sorry if repost!

yeah this whole thing is really confusing.

I'm not sure if I need to put in my product registration key to get early access or just do it when launch comes.

Is the little checklist thing they put on the account page for early access or launch access?

apparently the game launcher and account page on the website are incorrect and misleading and the above mentioned forum post are correct.

Epic Fail on EA/Biofails part.

Pre order code = Early game access up until the 20th of December at which point it expires.

Product registration code = the cd key effectively on your product box (or in the origin emails dispatched between the 15th and 20th of December)

The Product registration key determines the edition of your account, Basic, Digital Deluxe, or collectors edition
