There are many more guilds that are 8/10 that have not posted there progression as I raid with a couple of them. You cannot compare NIM DF/DP to HM TOS/RAV. The correct comparsion would be HM DF/DP with HM TOS/RAV. ! I personally enjoyed putting random groups together and clearing 8/10 to 10/10 in HM DF/DP. It was fun and would get you the set pieces you and such for alts. It is IMPOSSIBLE to put random groups together in this tier of HM and clear very much on alts! The mechanics are just crazy for the last bosses so they will be impossible to clear until 5.0 and we are way overgeared for most groups. There is no need for a NIM tier for TOS.RAV, in my opinion, we should get new ops instead. About .001% of players will be successful in NIM TOS/RAV. The game would benefit much more from a new tier of SM/HM ops!

You can't really compare the difficulty to past ops just based on how long it takes teams to 5/5 it. While the past NiMs were more difficult than anything seen previously, the mechanics were all things we were used to or had the opportunity to practice in an easier difficulty or setting. The problem with Revan 3rd floor is it's a mechanic that has never been seen before. On top of that, you have to go through a long fight beforehand just to even see it. Last but not least, if you mess it up even slightly even once, you wipe immediately and don't get to keep practicing it.

If messing up the aberrations in HM was just an inconvenience instead of an instant wipe, and you had months of practicing the mechanic in that easier-yet-similar form, you probably wouldn't have much trouble dealing with it if it then showed up in its current form in NiM. The fact that the mechanic is unprecedented, and the game gives you no opportunity to practice it, makes it seem much harder than it actually is. Imagine if the Energy Orbs never appeared until NiM DF, with NiM DF still being just like it was pre-nerf. Even though it would be the same fight, less people would have cleared it, and it would have seemed much harder, because teams wouldn't have been practicing those mechanics in HM for months prior.

Mechanics that haven't been seen before are good if they are made professionally. Sadly Revan's 3rd floor is an example of poor design thinking. Author of the Revan fight made many people to play Trooper/BH instead of favourite class. And not only that, he also didn't think about crappy server position updating in this game.

Honestly the poor design thinking part in my opinion was not indicating at all in any way whatsoever that you have to look at the circles/clock positions. Zorz thankfully are great at figuring that stuff out crappy server updating isnt much of an issue with circles from experience (APAC ping too)

Also grats concept dat harbinger 2nd hype and APAC 1st hype

Yes we are enjoying it, though it feels more like NiM than HM. Ops seem overtuned and difficulty curve is too steep as you progress the bosses of an operation.
