Also, my secondary toon is a lightning sorc, and I get wrecked by hatred sins in 4v4. It is a big reason why I switched to my assassin, as everyone else is doing. Still do 2 mil in regs though... just not that effective in ranked 4v4 when assassins are in there.

Something that is completely nullified by AoE. No competent team of Sorcs will let you open up on them from stealth.

Considering that creeping terror and death field is 30m and discharge is 10, it's not that difficult for a hatred sin to get an open even when AoE's are being used. You can easily close to 4m for thrash/assassinate/leaching once you're engaged.

Yeah except Hatred isn't penalized by not being able to open from stealth.

Remember the hypothetical was the 4 best sins v the 4 best sorcs. Not the 4 lamest sorcs.

Sorcs can easily get back to max range once engaged

Who said they're going to be at 30m? The point of my post was that the sins can open from 10m with ease, thereby avoiding force storm spam. You aren't going to prevent any competent sin from getting the opener on you unless you get a 100% lucky AoE placement.

And my sin can just as easily stay within range of that sorc. The sorcs only way to get range on me is either through use of CC or sprint. Guess what? I have those exact same tools to keep him in range.
