I wish BW could make everyone happy, and I'm sure they do too. That just isn't reality. Check the patch notes from time to time to see when your merc is safe to play again. I'll continue to love mine through thick and thin.

Most warzones are gross mismatches. No fun for the losers, and not very engaging for the victors, unless they are sociopaths. This has been a problem with this game since day 1. Even before that. Blizzard threw a punch of random players into an instance to play king of the hill or carry the flag and called it pvp and every game has copied them since.

Meanwhile, devs pour over pve instances fine tuning every tiny aspect until pve players are satisfied it's balanced. If an encounter draws any criticism, it is adjusted in the next patch, or is even hot fixed. Meanwhile, pvp players are supposed to what, "tough it out" , "be a man" "quit being a carebear" if they ask for encounters they can enjoy competitively?

Meanwhile, the best anyone can do is make the cheesiness work for you. Roll an Op class, get some gear, form a premade, and farm the hapless pugs in regs like the rest of the "good" pvp'ers. Failing that, your choice as a pug is to accept your team getting facerolled the majority of the time or to do the smarter thing, which is to quit pvp altogether. If you aren't enjoying the warzones, is grinding them for pvp gear really worth it? There is no World pvp to speak of, outside of the odd ganker at work, even on pvp servers.

Hopefully, one of these years, we will see a pvp game wherein the devs actually develop a balance system akin to the pve instances. Bring a lunch though, it's probably going to be a long wait.

I think that only first person shooters and MOBAs have any chance of that. A few years ago developers were still trying to make MMO PvP a core consideration, but no more.

Unfortunately regarding the MMO market I concur. PvP-wise at least for sure.

Not everyone is a mindless grinder who doesnt care how they are leveling, just farming quests non-stop.
Than the game is too hard for you... Period.

Get rolled over the course of dozens of hours of slow levelling and then start complaining? This isn't WoW and you can't buy a level 60 character. If people are playing the game for PVP and they make a new character, they don't want to have to play for dozens and dozens of hours before they can start having fun.

Why is it so hard to accept that this is mainly a PvE game with PvP as a side game.

If you are only here for the PvP you have to accept that fact that it is not at the top of their priorities and be willing to take a backseat to PvE.

So either enjoy this game for what it is, a PvE game with a splash of PvP on the side, do the PvP even though it has its many downsides and suck it up, or just quit and play a fps.
