Okay. So now that we all agree on that utilities are the main reason why sins are overperforming, can we move on to discuss how to fix that?

I'll believe that utilities are the reason for Hatred's OPness once you (or someone else) made a compelling argument that Deception and Darkness is also OP.
No? Alright then, I guess Hatred is OP on it's own right afterall and not the utilities.

This is kinda what I feel like. But the formost problem is the burst damage which is far too powerful. Perhaps the dots arent so bad anymore once that is taken care of.

However we must be careful on how we approach that, because in PvE everything is quite fine as is tbh..

make leeching strike unable to crit.. then you've successfully nerfed burst and self heals.

The healing is fine. That needs to stay right where it is.

I was thinking more along the lines of making Serenity Strike be 50% less powerful in PvP only whilst keeping it's current healing.

Also, Spinning Strike hits too hard as well. It'd be fine if it hit for as much as it does now on a noncrit.. however the crit damage is through the roof with 11k+ on fully geared people.

hmm i dont know there's plenty of stuff that hits that hard and even higher. would be a shame to have that nerfed when in excecute range

Not on a class that can do 3k dps in dots alone.

I think a 25% (PvP only) Surge nerf to Spinning Strike and a 50% (PvP only) damage nerf to Serenity Strike (while keeping full healing capacity) would be just perfect. After that we can see if the dots still need tuning or not. But I suspect those 2 changes would go a long way.
