They don't need to nerf it..Just bring back auto crit 14k aoe smash for mara and jugg in rage spec.

here there are some screenshots from leaderboards of a couple of regs of the last 2-3 weeks.
i keep thinking that, just as any other fotm, it makes shine good players and overperform bads. obviously having 3-4 of them in the enemy team can make it bad, but nothing different from the old 3-4 maras smashing..

smash was worse because it was the ONLY dps spec that both warrior ACs and the mirrors ran. so if you think the preponderance of sins is bad now, lemme tell ya...it was a lot worse with smashers. and the cleave...and then bubble stun was the same era. so you had all that cleave popping all those stun bubbles. it made melee a perpetual stop and go, red light green light exercise. worst thing to ever happen to pvp in this game.

I played that smash spec. I destroyed with it. This hatred spec is better. It is far better.

About hatred/serenity I don't think the spec is OP DPS-wise atcually I think both sents and PTs can do better.
The BIG problem with the spec is the fact that it's unstoppable compare to the other two.
If you can continuosly cast abilities since you are immune to mostly everything for so long you'll result more powerful than you really are.
The class needs to lose some of that do be perfectly balance in pvp.
If a PT or a sent could freecast for resilience+deflection people would REALLY scream for huge nerfs.

That's the whole point. It can continuously pump out DPS without much penalty... as a sorc/pt etc. you have to kite, channel, and a lot of that survivable time is wasted. Assassins just continually pump out HARD dps while still being survivable and un-cc'able. It is unreal the combination of utility/damage/heals/immunity/defensive cooldowns, AND they have STEALTH so they can choose their fights, AND they have phase walk. It is INSANE. Seriously, it is just unreal... anyone who tries to downplay that is playing an assassin and wants it to stay the way it is.

While I do agree that sins are ridiculously uber, I also see the need to have speccs that are able to produce OP dmg on the fly and without serious counter. Because otherwise, the combination of protection + heal will dictate the outcome of everything. It's already very, very difficult to counter this "now I'm the tank, now you're the tank, now he's the tank, now the healer heals the tank who makes him to a tank, now the other tank guards this tank, now this tank guards the other tank...." guard + heal ping pong s.h.i.t.e, but without seriously uber DPS speccs it would be impossible.

OK, so then buff 6 other specs to be the way hatred sins are and I'll agree with you. Otherwise, it means the team with the best hatred sin wins right now. That is just wrong. I'm typing this as I level up my lvl 17 assassin.
