Slicing seems to be a bug on everybody's mind. So, I have a modest proposal to fix slicing.

First, limit all gathering skills to one concurrent crew task per skill at a time (this obviously includes slicing). This is per skill, so you can run a scavaging mission at the same time as a slicing mission, but not two scavaging or two slicing missions. Mission and crafting skills would not be changed by this, you can still run multiple crafting/mission crew tasks at a time.

Second, extend this limitation to ALL characters on a server. You can still have one character slicing, another character doing archeology, a third doing scavenging, but you can't have 2 characters slicing at the same time. You may have two characters WITH slicing, but they can't be slicing concurrently. Limitation goes for all gathering crew skills. Crafting and mission skills would remain unchanged.

Slicing would still be profitable, but you're greatly reducing the rate at which money is created created by slicing, while changing it in a way that balances it against other gathering skills.

Slicing would still be profitable, but you would screw the heck out of those of us who don't have it by making it exceedingly difficult to try and get rare mats by limiting our ability to spam out missions.
