Ranked Seasons in 2015

For those who are either 40+ or do not use the internet outside of swtor.

Hopefully we see some class balancing before the season starts (maras in particular need some love) and it would also be awesome if we could know the season theme and see some work-in-progress reward screenshots when the season starts. I'd be in favour of having a later s4 start date if it meant that the above could happen
You already have 3 seasons of data with which to set a floor rating, why wait till season 5?

A new map would be nice as well, I subscribe to pay ranked and I want to see new content.

As many said before me Id rather have a later starting date for the season if there was a well-thought, consistent class balancing before it. I dont mind if it starts 2-3 weeks later or even a month, but gosh how boring it will be and how disappointed the players will be if things stay as they are now or similar.
Quality > Quantity and most people pay for games likewise.

Later starting date is perfect. Allow people to gear up toons!

1) Great idea with introducing a "bottom cap" for trolls. Unfortunately, this won't stop them because they do it just to ruin the game. Good start however; please pay attention to my player reporting

2) Please release rewards or hint of rewards early like you id this past season.

3) Keep the posters coming to reflect each season we made it in. Introduce another decoration, even if its just for lower tiered folks.

4) Titles last season were perfect for <top 96 in my opinion. Just change the theme and you are good to go.

5) Please introduce a new warzone or two that reflects the current state of the game "war wise." You could keep the same alderaan/novare/hypergate type games just please put them in relevant planets. Aka Corellia, Oricon, heck maybe Rishi / Yavin since the alliance is over now.

Hey, thats great, you're starting the new season of Ranked. Question.. are you going to fix my marauder before or after it goes live? Or are you just planning to delete the class? Thanks.

Let me give you one piece of advice that you should, or atleast could ("we read your feedback", mmkay?) have known. Create a system that cannot be abused for Conquest points!

If the reason behind preseasons is to gear up: atleast make the actual season for people that are geared!

Esspecially since the arrival of the guildships and conquestpoints ranked queues are filled with PvE geared scrubs who get points: even if they lose. They ruin the game and cannot be avoided. With the current que system you can get queued up with people under e.g. 700 rating with you're above 1650. It's a nightmare for everyone who takes ranked seriously. These people have no clue what they are doing and they should not be in ranked.

I even hear sounds of PvE guilds now ruining unranked games by just staying at one node because "We cannot be bothered to play, we get the conquest points anyway". They just wait untill the game is over to farm.

If I ever encounter a premade who pulls such a thing of atleast in regs I can leave without any cost and get a proper game. While in solo ranked getting a team with a full PvE sorc that forcespeed backpeddles and doesn't bother to barrier, the game is pretty much lost and leaving will end up costing me rating aswell.

Also, no bolster in ranked. Set a (relatively high) amount as minimum expertise. Keep ranked as intended. Otherwise don't reward conquest points for ranked games since it has a reward system of it's own.

Actually it's a subscriber issue.

BW offer nearly nothing to subscribers at the momment. Players simply buying the ac artifact unlock from gtn, they buy a few weekly wz path and play free. In my server TOFN I learned all the names who is playing ranked (aka subscribed pvp'er) lol so there are not many of them.

The second reason to don't waste energy on sub like a pvp'er is the ranked 4v4 system. Actually 8v8 is fare more fun. So most of the players ask the question "why I have to pay for struggle in ranked?"

Maybe 1v1 ranked would bring some more atention and would be more fun than this focus click-click nonsense.

If I visit my AC page then I can see the following sentance:
"Your play time will be ending soon.

Your account will move to Free-to-Play status if you cancel your subscription and your paid game time runs out."

Guess what will happen now? : )

This is sad that from normal season beginning you try to make event of the year .You are incompetent team. Since 2 years u made one new wz and destroy good old ranked system. Where is the new content?/ You don t have any plans for pvp future and you try to hide it by making big announcement from normal season beginning or class balance . Tell the true that in 2015 u dont have any plans to improve pvp in swtor .
