Qutiing premade regs..why it's a good idea.

I play solo the majority of the time, and you are utterly wrong.

All we have had for 3 years is a minority of forum users, which is a minority of the pvp playerbase, which is a minority of the overall playerbase, whining when they lose. Please stop saying you speak for "people", when you clearly do not.

PVP in this game is not for everyone.

Pug matches have way greater diversity and variety due to having 16 random players. Premades lessens that variety.

Premades are like a gated community for the elderly in Miami

Pug teams are Mardi Gras mixed with Harlem sprinkled with Oregon.

i was asking if a 8/8 pug doesn't work around capping the natural and winning mid.

the lack of variety as you put it on premades, is that if i play in a group and let's say i'm going to guard, my friends know that i'm not leaving the node, i'll call incs and i won't be sapped, while i know they are not going derping at the off node without a reason and they will focus the enemy healers properly, while our healer will be able to kite and keep more than one person alive. i find this a better way to play regs, funnier.
i also Q solo, but it's depressing calling and no one comes, or focusing alone a good healer, or splitting a tank with no one taking advantage of it, or the entire team doing again and again the same thing that was unsuccessful.

This whole thread is stupid. And if people continue to lobby against being able to play an "MMO" with your friends this game will be dead quick fast. If i wanted to play video games alone I would play my XBOX . The whole point of MMO is to be part of a community be it during pvp during pve or just standing around on a planet somewhere. This game has already become KOTOR 3,4,5,6-10 .. Please dont make it worse. If you have a problem with premades make some friends and run your own premade.

Lol - actually - people are leaving because they are constantly pitted against premades several matches in a row. Premades whining that they would have to fight other premades seriously just need to stop playing if that would bother them. If the whole reason they play premades is just to roflstomp regs, then no one really cares about their opinion anyway. X Server ( or whatever that "better" solution is that BW talked about ) and not allowing groups to fight against solo players would solve SO many problems its ridiculous.

wish unranked would be just solo only, the matches that are randomly mixed together are the best ones, premades take the casual fun out of it.

i would prefer this as well, but that's a preference. others would prefer to play the game with friends. and others prefer to play with a stacked deck. so on and so forth.

here's the only thing that matters: reg queue is almost (the limit premades to 4m) completely unregulated. the matchmaking is non-existent. BW doesn't care what you do. this includes premades, queue-syncs, death-matching, and quitting matches, and getting thrown into a match as back-fill.

regs are the proverbial playground, and the mom's are off comparing scarves and jewlery on the other side of the park. the playground is full of kids. there are bullies. there are groups of friends. there are kids off on their own. there are kids who flow between. some kids are crying. some are shouting out with glee.

that's what regs are. that's all they'll ever be. it's been 3 years. BW's laisse faire attitude has been made abundantly clear at this point. you really need to choke down your bile or sense of justice or fair play or whatever it is that's driving you to complain about reg administration, because BW isn't going to do jack **** about it. and you will continue to be frustrated. my advice is, when you feel your blood start to boil, it's time to take a break. it happens to everyone. you don't have to walk away from the comp (although many of us should!), but just change toons. change factions. w/e. get over the idea that you cannot quit. because quitting is often the best thing you can do.

BW has designed a system that encourages you to leave when you're not having fun. if winning is the only thing that's fun to you, then go ahead and leave a losing match. that's literally the way regs are structured, and it's how they will continue to be structured. we're talking about the same dev philopsophy that refuses to require the most ridiculously minimal gateway for ranked, and you honestly think they're going to do a damn thing for gateways in regs? they're not. you're only working up your own blood pressure for nothing.

You can still play with your friends, wth....Just adding a solo que doesnt mean you cant do reg que, make the solo que give far less comms I don't care. I'm just looking for closer to even matches.
